“I just feel so sorry for our players, Weber just takes playing us more serious than we do, I guess we’ll have to act like that as well and not go into Weber as just another game. Also our kids were just so exhausted from the previous playoff game, maybe I should take blame for racking up 73 points, but I’m not”...didn’t listen to Hauck’s interview but just speculating how it wentcatscat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:56 am"I don't know. Didn't hear his interview, just speculating on how it went.

Re: Other FCS playoff games
It's misguided to try to compare Rovig to Sneed. The offense runs through Sneed. Our offense runs through the running game and is augmented by Rovig. If you put Sneed in our offense and allowed him to just augment the running game with situational passing, I expect he would be hyper efficient. I agree with you that I would totally take him or a player like him.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 12:16 amHis OL, and their refusal (or inability) to run the ball really hasn't done him any favors. His mistakes tend to build on each other.BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 12:08 amSneed is a good quarterback.
I mean, he hasn't been very good today, but he's a good player overall and supporters of that program are justified in being happy to have him.
He's not the only good QB in the conference and probably not the best one.
Still think he's a good QB. I'd take him.

Hauck's presser last night he said that they had the best defense in the conference. I beg to differ....Cledus wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:36 amWeedKillinCat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:30 amBobby said last night they have the best defense in the conference...hahahahahaha...48-14...

Bobby said that the GRIZ has the best defense? Or that Weber has the best defense?
You could make a case for Weber. But if he said with a straight face the griz have the best defense that is the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard. Their defense was weak and coaches kid would barely start NAIA.
Oh my.

Also the griz went the entire season without winning one single game against a winning team on the road. I was told that stat was meaningless before the brawl. Seems valid. They can win at home but if they play a good team on the road it’s a wrap.
I’ll give them credit for yesterday though. I thought Weber was going to kill them. You get 5 takeaways and only win by 7 is not very good.

Weber's offense is offensive to watch. Just so, so, bad.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:44 amAlso the griz went the entire season without winning one single game against a winning team on the road. This might be a weird time to point out, but the Cats haven’t beat a team with a winning record on the road either.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 10:44 amAlso the griz went the entire season without winning one single game against a winning team on the road. I still think the Cats are pretty dang good.

NDSU is a extremely polished team. Next week is going to be rough if we don't get some pressure on their QB.
