I think that's what 14,000 looks like in the stadium. It's much more likely regular season attendance is inflated (as has been discussed) and the normal 17,000 is more like 14,000 butts in seats.

Re: Playoff attendance
Provided we have a relatively competitive team, we wouldn’t lose may home games if the crowd was like that every home game. It was incredible every down on defense. There were obviously a good amount of people that don’t normally attend games, but they did great too. You could tell because every now and again there was significant noise when we were on offense.

NDSU drew 14,132 today. Only 61 more attendees than MSU. Impressive showing by our fans for sure!

I’m in 104, front and center. A few years ago people gated me. I just can’t make myself sit. But now no apologies. I’m standing and people around me are standing. It used to be a boring section. It’s not anymore.kwcat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 7:55 pmI have never sat in the section where I expected to sit at all during the game. Maybe a few breaks are in between quarters but other than that I stand the whole time.

Re: Playoff attendance
That is a typo on our attendance. Actual was a little lower at 14,017. Had to go check when I saw that didn’t end in a 7.

The place was jumpin last night. Great crowd and energy. Austin Peay was not ready for the crowd noise. It messed with them. It didn't help them with our D up in their ass all night. Lol.....

You're right. Fat-fingered it. Should have caught the 7 part.kmax wrote: ↑Sun Dec 15, 2019 1:28 amThat is a typo on our attendance. Actual was a little lower at 14,017. Had to go check when I saw that didn’t end in a 7.

I couldn't make the game...but let me tell you...the crowd sounded incredible on ESPN!!. From first snap until the end. Kudo's to Bobcat nation. If I didn't live out of state, I'd be at every home game. It's an amazing atmosphere.

DANG, I thought for a while yesterday Illinois State was going to pull it out in the 4th quarter and we would
have one more at Bobcat Stadium. Hope there is a good crowd that travels to Fargo!

Re: Playoff attendance
Great crowd at that game Friday. There were lots of new faces in the immediate area of my seats. Most fit in quite well with our ways. Loud loud loud, meaning 1st 2nd and 3rd down and standing most of the time. A couple were over the top potty mouthed but they soon learned that loud is expected but vulgar is not generally accepted. A husband and wife weren't expecting to have to stand so much but they came around. The 3 newbies next to me never did make noise above their inside voices but oh well.
