 Bethany is popular. Even with the Griz.

Come on Bethany..... charge em double
Are they really trying to charge $35 to the kids? That would also be par for the course over there :D
No, I heard it was $5, just another ignorant fizz fan

Free tickets for UM students for the upcoming playoff game. Copied MSU and got a donor or two to step up and buy them.

Looking at TicketsWest right now it doesn't seem like there are going to be a whole lot of butts in seats come Saturday.

This is very disappointing. If season ticket holders have a full week to buy their tickets they should know what is available before any are released to the general public. I will not be buying early again that way I can get better tickets and if the weather is bad I don't have to buy at all whereas before they would have still gotten my money because I bought early. with the technology there is now there is no excuse to not know what was committed to season ticket holders by Monday morning.
. Nope not a season holder but make about 3 games a year. Info on site just stated tickets for general public on sale at 9 Monday. That to me means all available. Might be petty but If you can't get them all organized by then don't open it up. My issue was more finding a group together for number I needed without being all way at top on East side. Just seems odd the ones available later in week.

Are you a season ticket holder? They broke everything down in the email sent. I know on the MSU website they also explained the whole process. It is the same thing every time we host a playoff game. Season ticket holders get about a week to decide if they want to buy "their" tickets for the game. After that they are up for grabs.

Knowing what we know about playoff attendance, if I wasn't a season ticket holder I would never buy tickets until they are all freed up. Great opportunity to get great seats for a huge game!

I'm not really understanding what MSU could have done better in these regards? :-k

I just looked as well. Pretty disturbing actually.

For those who have looked at the ticket sales what kind of numbers of butts in the seats are you thinking you're seeing?

I just looked, I disagree. Most of the sideline sections look to be 75% sold out. The end zone seats are pretty much spoken for. There are quite a few down by the bobcat inflatable head, but those are always the last to go. Most fans are probably budget conscious and went for the endzone. Every fan that bought a sideline seat is a diehard and is probably the loudest and most educated fan. The casual fans you see at gold rush are at christmas parties and shopping extravaganzas.

It looked to me like maybe 60% sold in 110 through 112 and similar on the press box side. Might be underestimating but there were at least 4 or 5 tickets available in almost every row of those sections and some had 10 or more available in quite a few rows. Last I looked at section 110, from row 12 up almost every row has 10+ available seats. Several have 15 or more. Both sidelines are similar.

I think it's going to be a healthy crowd. My guess will be 14-15k by the time people buy tickets Saturday (about what was actually there vs. SUU). If other pre-scheduled activities keep people occupied, it might be 12-13k, but as @Bocephus mentioned, the people attending are the rabid fans anyhow. I think good weather brings out a better crowd. If it really is 40 degrees Saturday, I think it adds 1-2k to the attendance (easier travel, not fair weather fans).

I also see different things every time I check, so there is a chance that Ticketswest is funky today.

Thanks to everyone who gave estimates as to the sales. I bought our 4 season tickets plus two more. We got a full rig coming and plan to be at full throat as coach likes to say. Go CATS!

Ticket sales were around 12,000 as of yesterday. Come on folks, grab a friend and take them to the game!

That makes me feel better. I’m recruiting as many as I can. I know there are people out there just assuming there are no good tickets left.

I know we’re likely going to be looking at a 14k-ish crowd tomorrow.

I understand it’s not going to be standing room only, but I’m honestly still a little disappointed in that number if that what it ends up being.
Coming off of a dominant win against our rival, #5 seed in the playoffs with a very winnable game, very likely the last home game of the season, it’s not thanksgiving weekend, weather looks to be good for most the state, so bad roads shouldn’t come into play. How do we not get 16k+ with all of those factors?

Hopefully we’ll be pleasantly surprised tomorrow, but we’ll see...

I am too. Have a pretty huge group.

My hope is anyone wanting to go just goes without worrying too much about the seats. Just get in the stadium. Assess the situation and if there are better seats to be had sneak on down! Whatever you have to do to be there, and be loud.

I can't disagree with what you're saying. I just look at it a bit differently because I went into the week with 15,000 being what I thought was a good number. Obviously I'd love more. But playoff games everywhere are a bit lower than regular season for a plethora of reasons so I guess I already set the bar a bit lower.

Considering this could easily be our last game until next September, I too would think more people would try to be here.

Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised?!

I even invited my in-laws to come to the game. They won't make much noise (not at the game anyway). But wanted to get a few more butts in seats.
