Have people seen our defense lately? Albany doesn't score more than 20.

MSU: 37
Albany: 10

Agreed. Our defense has been absolutely LIGHTS OUT over the last 5 games. I don't see that changing this weekend.

I sure hope so! But, as others' correctly predicted, listening to Choate's presser he certainly sounds concerned about that passing game. They WILL air it out a ton and they DO have NFL caliber receiver and other personnel to make some big plays on us. If we can stop them on the ground and make them one dimensional and really get after that QB I think we'll have a good chance to win.

Choate makes UNC sound like a good team in his pressers.

Albany doesn't have an NFL WR. I'll guarantee they don't have any WR as good as what we faced against UM. We did fine there.

Listening to Choate in the press conference reminded me of the way he talked about NAU. Obviously this team is better than NAU based on the fact that they are still playing football and NAUs season has been over for a few weeks. But our defense played well against NAUs offence and I expect them to be ready again this week

23 - 10 good guys.

Southern Utah was described as a tough out per Choate.

I'm going with 48-14 Cats.

I think my prediction for every game for the next year will be 48-14 Cats. No particular reason - seems to have a nice ring to it! :-^ :-^

I think the Cats will have a rough first half knocking off a little rust from the hangover from Cat-griz...then begin to roll again in the 2nd half.

Cats 27 UA 17

These guys are the CAA champs, and they just rolled a team that was 11-1 with its only loss to a good Eastern Michigan team. These guys are going to come to win.

Cats 31
Danes 28

JMU might disagree with the CAA champ thing.

MSU has played a few teams over the past few years that have sent receivers off to the NFL. EWU and NAU come to mind. I have no doubt Albany will be a tough team, but that’s nothing new.

I think they were 3rd in their conference, behind JMU and Villanova. But I agree, they are a good team. Good on both sides of the ball.

They definitely weren’t conference champs. They definitely will come to win. Whether or not they’re on our level remains to be seen?

34-17 Cats
Close in the first half and slowly pull away and add a TD in the 3rd and the 4th to make it a comfortable win.

This won’t be a pushover, they are a solid team without a doubt, the Cats are just better.

Impossible to guess on this one. I remember a few years back when UNH came in and everyone thought it'd be a lot easier than it was. MSU made some mistakes early and fell behind. Had to scrap to get ahead, then nearly blew it on the final play.

Different teams though, so I gotta agree with almost everyone. The defense is playing very well, MSU is not making lots of big mistakes. I thought Rovig had his best half in the first half vs. UM. Had he not thrown to high to Jonsen, it would've been an awesome half for him. His pass down sideline to Kassis was where only Kassis could catch it. The pass that drew the interference would've been completed for a lot of yards. His mid-range passes to Jonsen were good passes.

If MSU plays a clean game: MSU 35, Albany 17
If MSU makes a lot of mistakes: MSU 26, Albany 24

Albany took 2nd place in the conference only because, like us, they don 't play everybody in one year. This year they didn't play James Madison or Villanova!

MSU. 35
UAlbany 18
