Re: MSU vs Albany predictions

I sure hope so! But, as others' correctly predicted, listening to Choate's presser he certainly sounds concerned about that passing game. They WILL air it out a ton and they DO have NFL caliber receiver and other personnel to make some big plays on us. If we can stop them on the ground and make them one dimensional and really get after that QB I think we'll have a good chance to win.
Choate makes UNC sound like a good team in his pressers.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 3:54 pmI sure hope so! Listening to Choate in the press conference reminded me of the way he talked about NAU. Obviously this team is better than NAU based on the fact that they are still playing football and NAUs season has been over for a few weeks. But our defense played well against NAUs offence and I expect them to be ready again this weekcatatac wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 3:54 pmI sure hope so! Southern Utah was described as a tough out per Choate.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 4:03 pmChoate makes UNC sound like a good team in his pressers.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 3:54 pmI sure hope so! Albany doesn't have an NFL WR. I'll guarantee they don't have any WR as good as what we faced against UM. We did fine there.
So was UND, turns out they wereVimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 5:46 pmSouthern Utah was described as a tough out per Choate.bobcat99 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 4:03 pmChoate makes UNC sound like a good team in his pressers.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 3:54 pmI sure hope so! MSU has played a few teams over the past few years that have sent receivers off to the NFL. EWU and NAU come to mind. I have no doubt Albany will be a tough team, but that’s nothing new.catatac wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 3:54 pmI sure hope so! I think they were 3rd in their conference, behind JMU and Villanova. But I agree, they are a good team. Good on both sides of the ball.
They definitely weren’t conference champs. They definitely will come to win. Whether or not they’re on our level remains to be seen?
