Tucker Rovig...

...executed and led the troops today. Not once did it look like he was unsure of himself. Really happy for the kid.

Dude has improved every week. Looking real comfortable out there. So happy for him.

He's done exactly what we all in August thought our starter needed to do over the last month. Manage the game and play mistake free. This is a great team and he's a big part of it.

If he works on his throwing and timing in the offseason he could make some big steps as a Qb

In my opinion, he may have done enough the last few weeks to secure his starter spot in future seasons if we go forward with the same style of offense. A great win today and a tip of the hat to Tucker....

I have been super critical of Tucker this year. But damn, that kid has shown some guts. He has the ability to shake off a bad play and execute the next one, which is essential for improving. He played very well the last few weeks.

This. Maybe not here but amongst friends I have been very critical. He just keeps brushing the occasional mistake off and just keeps coming back stronger. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Some people were convinced that the Cats couldn't beat a good team with Rovig.

Myth busted.

I have been impressed with Rovig of late, but did be beat a good team today, or an overrated team? :-^

If he plays like this, we'll be fine.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Maybe the Cat coaches learned a thing or two about Rovig today. With TA on the sidelines they were forced to rely on him and he delivered. They didn’t ask too much of him but what they did ask he got done.

Played confident today. Played well.

They're 9-3. Last week they beat Weber convincingly. They beat 10-2 Monmouth convincingly. Really everyone they beat, they beat convincingly. Today's game was a signature win and a damn good one at that.

Or was there some sarcasm there and I missed it?

This was his best game to date. At one point I saw him actually go through a read progression before finding a wide open #10 for a first down. Blew my mind.

He had to play most of the season with the biggest rushing threats being guys who had to replace him rather than line up next to him. With Ifanse back, that changes in an important way. Jones has been great as well, but he really wasn't healthy most of the year either.

Best aspect of Rovig's game today was avoiding the big mistake. When the running game is rolling, just take care of the ball.

I do have to say though, our bar of expectations is pretty dang low right now. But still, he's improving!

Im not gonna lie...I thought rovig was going to be a liability in this game. The kid finally proved me wrong and executed. Super happy to have #12 running our offense today. Great job Tucker.
