It was interesting to see how the coaches approached the game in terms of RBs. If I remember correctly they started with Sumner running the rock for a couple drives, then switched to Jones, then finished it off with Ifanse. There might have been a couple other RBs mixed in there, and of course the occasional wild cat with TA or TJ, but generally it looks like that was the order. Not sure if Ifanse going last was due to injury, still working him in slowly or what.
Looking at strategy for Cat\Griz, I would think you start with Ifanse as your primary ball carrier from the get go, and when he needs a breather or gets nicked up you go with the wild cat or bring in Jones or Sumner. So I guess the question here is, when we get late in the game and those running lanes open up a bit who do you want toting the rock? Is it you best RB even if he's tired, or do you want one of the backup guys that are fresh?

Re: Running Back Strategy
My guess is that it will be similar to this last game.
Ifanse looked good but clearly isn’t 100% either. An 80% healthy Ifanse is still a damn good back, but it might make sense to get him in there once the d line is worn down a bit.
If Jones and Sumner and maybe Hosey are healthier, I could see them all getting some carries early.

Run three plays, three new backs. Score. Repeat.

Re: Running Back Strategy
It's possible that they've been trying to give Ifanse some run to get him back in a groove while not wearing him down specifically so that they can use him more in the Brawl.
