T-minus 2 games left and admittedly the Cats have put themselves into a spot where they have to win one of the two to get into the playoffs.

With 2 wins they should be seeded and get a 1st round bye.

So, which Cat team shows up in today’s game? We’ve played two great weekends of football recently and our Defense is playing lights out! I think our D is who we will ride into the playoffs and beyond!

The interest will be in seeing how our D eliminates the Davis big plays, and how multiple our Offense will be today against a nice defense for Davis. I don’t think we’re gonna win this week by just running the ball. So, I’m looking for something to happen through the air as well!

Our backs are up against it... I see us coming in and being aggressive and winning a close game.

Davis is only giving up 4.1/rush on the season. And they are middle class f the pack in pass D efficiency too. I think this game is a coin flip. If the Cars show up disorganized & listless like they’ve done in at least 3 road games this year, we are in for a shellacking. If the Cats of last week show up, we should win comfortably by 7 or 10.

Which team show up? Heck if I know.

I don’t think we’ll rerun rough shod over them like UNC or SUU, but I do think we’ll wear them down and do well enough. But if we can get yards over the top that will be our can of whoop ass.

We’re going to have to get out to a good start and stay away from those doldrums that have slowed us down in the past.

It’s a game of inches and every play counts. Everyone’s effort on every play counts and has a cumulative effect. If we come out flat, that will kill us.

Just a quick detour on this thread. MSU MBB is playing UNCG tough down 20-22 with 3:30 left in first half. UNCG is top 100 team according to Kenpom. Game is on ESPN 3 watch for next 20 minutes to help time pass.

Our SWX is playing beach volleyball instead of the game. But the digital tv guide says it should be the game.
