I would love to see a chant during Cat/griz, especially when he is introduced as a senior.

there is an interesting "what if"... what if he would have worked out with the cats (and hadn't been such a nut job) and this team had both Bryce Sterk and Marino..... my god.

Marino would've graduated by now if he stuck with MSU.

True but I think last year he would've been a senior.

Talent was never the question with Marino. Glad to hear he seemingly got things turned around.

If you don’t count Sterk’s nonconference stats, then he’s not as good as their #37 Sims, according to egriz.

Comparing stats between a DE and an interior lineman makes no sense at all. They're both among the best in the conference at their respective positions.

It's really that simple. Both great players.

This will just be another in the long line of petty pissing matches between what I sadly have to assume are grown men.... #-o

Before this gets too friendly and sensible, Sterk couldn't carry Zack Wagemann or Tyrone Holmes' jocks. :)

I'd worry about him if he even thought about it and I have no worries about Sterk.

Comparing Sterk to Sims games yesterday, I'd say that Sterk is the REAL 37!!!!

Sterk's Cat Griz stats - 5 tackles, 1.5 TFL for -7 yards, 2.5 sacks for -7 yards, 241 total yards allowed
Sims Cat Griz stats - 2 tackles, 382 yards RUSHING allowed (big deal for a nose tackle...)

Jesse's a good player and I still wish he had chosen to come to MSU, but Sterk is the REAL 37 this year!

I say we make 37 a tradition as well. Our best defender every year should start wearing it so we can have the Real 37 tradition continue. Next year Troy can wear it and there will be no doubt he's the Real 37.

I bet Troy wears 41 next year, give 37 to Williams.

Not only that, but Sims was on the field for about 18 more plays. Sterk got a lot more mileage out of his snaps.
