Prukop article on Cats...
Here's the link to the Gazette article on our last trip to Davis. Fun and interesting read.

He is a great guy. He will always be a family favorite of ours. He always knew our kids when he saw them. I wish him the best.

I really, REALLY, really, REALLY wish he would have stayed for his senior year but he was still a great Bobcat and I don't hold anything against him for his decision. Hope he finally gets an opportunity to start somewhere.

That's a great article. I wish he would've stayed at MSU as much as anyone but he did fulfill his obligation to the school. It's hard to blame anyone for chasing their dream. Cool to hear he's still such a big fan.

Great article. It was strange to see Dakota wearing a blue helmet. Didn't Ash get rid of the blue helmets because he thought they were jinxed?

That's a good point, I remember something like that. But I don't think it was that particular blue helmet if memory serves. I think it was the one they wore in Cat-Griz when the Cats were ranked so high and just got blown out at home, maybe 2013? I thought they looked awesome, but then I heard they would never be wearing them again after that performance.duelalumnicat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:23 pmGreat article. Here are many of the highlights from that game. Imagine if the Cats had the same defense they do currently back then.

Correct, but it was the 2011 Cat griz game blowout you are referring to.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:40 pmThat's a good point, I remember something like that. You could have just quoted the OP. The article discusses his status.

Good point. We might have lost but at least the Griz didn't win.LTown Cat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 1:25 pmNope, never happened...91catAlum wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 1:11 pmCorrect, but it was the 2011 Cat griz game blowout you are referring to.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:40 pmThat's a good point, I remember something like that. Re: Prukop article on Cats...
I thought Dakota was a great QB and hated seeing him leave. That said, it seems like in this article he really wanted to push the Cramsey card. I remember he wanted Cramsey as the HC, and I think that was a lot of the reason for him leaving.

Re: Prukop article on Cats...
I think he used that as an excuse. Prukop was gone whether Cramsey got the HC job or not.

Prukop was gone before a new HC was named
I don't blame him for wanting to try the game at a higher level.

I too picked up on the Cramsey comments. I very well remember him lobbying for him to be the HC and publicly announced he was leaving when it was realized Cransey wasn’t being considered.

I actually thought it was more Cramsey...he thought he could ride the Prokup bus as far as it would take him and that he had no problem "pimping" Prokup out while he did it.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 6:50 pmI too picked up on the Cramsey comments. a
That was my recollection as well. It was a very immature thing for Cramsey to do.kcatz wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 7:01 pmI actually thought it was more Cramsey...he thought he could ride the Prokup bus as far as it would take him and that he had no problem "pimping" Prokup out while he did it.94VegasCat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 6:50 pmI too picked up on the Cramsey comments. Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
