This dude needs to be added to the Buchanan Award watch list asap. I can't imagine there is a player in the country that has put up better numbers then him through the first 4 games. The guy is just dominating!

There have been some amazing defensive players come through MSU (even just over the last 15-20 years alone)… I'm not saying where Sterk ranks among the all time greats (yet)… all I will say is that it is fun to watch him just punish ANYONE in front of him. This guy is just a beast!

That poor left tackle got absolutely abused today. I think Sterk took that poor guys lunch money, girlfriend, soul and even his birthday.

Sterk iis a beast. He should be added when they update the watch list, usually after mid season.

He has about matched his 2018 sack total, which led the Big Sky, and we haven't even started conference play yet!

I’m calling it right now: Stark has more > 25 sacks on the year and at a minimum is a Buck finalist.

Maybe I have his current number wrong. Is he at 8? 8 through four games means 24 through 12 games, but I could simply have that first number wrong.

Got it. That's nuts. And no cheap stats against any D-II schools either.

He's a dude. And not just in the passing game. He dominated the run game too. Best pure DE I've seen here in quite some time.

He had to have had at least 3 TFL today too. Maybe more.

I really wish he had another year. Kid is a beast and very fun to watch.

If there is a phobia to the #37, and more could be added, their QB just picked up that phobia...

25.5 would be an official single season FCS record, but interestingly enough, not the MSU single season school record, which I believe is 30 sacks. NCAA didn’t count sacks officially until 2000.

I doubt he gets to 25 although 3 1/2 sacks against a quarterback that Choate compared to Chris Murray is pretty impressive. I can see him getting into the top three all-time for a single season and top 10 for a career.
