Dude...major salty on this end...We have an ESPN pre and post game show in Missoula that has 8 significant sponsors and nets our station a big chunk of change. I get a healthy talent fee and was required to be there tonight. I had TomCat on the writing angle, my guy Jason shooting photos and Driscoll doing video. Brooks had a 3-year late delayed wedding present from some in-laws - trip to Hawaii that he couldn't turn down. We are back in the saddle as soon as possible. Great win by the Cats tonight.

We got the FCS game of the week and Skyline Sports is in Missoula!?
Contractually obligated through ESPN. Trust me, plenty of negotiation, kicking and screaming this week...no more missed home games for Montana State this season was the end resolution.

ESPN should know that all the meaningful football gets played in the Gallatin Valley. Is the griz beating up on high school teams that exciting?

Of course...we get it! Following the money is where the news is found! :)

Throwing shade for fun! It looks like lots of big news was made in the Zoo! :)

Anyway, the Cats squeaked out a dull win in front of 20000 against a ranked playoff team! Hehe

Remember when we were Colter's paycheck? Now he's famous and rich, he forgets the little people he left behind.

More Coy Steel please. That kid's a player.
Kassis really likes Steel and talked about him at length. Says he’s really tough and does all the little things. Blocks downfield, special teams ace, etc
He sure does. Two nice solo tackles on kick coverage and a blocked punt. Plays with some fire. I want to see more of him on the offense.

Not sure if you’re trying to be funny, but if not, this couldn’t be further from the truth.

We (all of Montana) are so lucky to have skyline sports. The coverage they provide is unreal! Anyone that complains about what they do is a complete moron.

What a joke. SEMO is not a good team and the Cats making them look great. Not a lot of positives to take away from the first half.
You are a joke.....

Lol!
One reason I like to avoid the gameday threads once the game starts... Too many emotional overreactions.

Emotions during a football game are normal. Mostly posting on game threads and always being negative isn't.

Yes I was I actually thought it would be obvious so did not use any emoji's. I don't think he's rich or famous, and I'm far from a little person.

This is my summary of the game:

It wasn't as close as the score indicated. We made a lot of stupid mistakes, but still dominated SEMO. They couldn't do anything against our starting defense.

For those who didn't see it, this was a 15 yard celebration penalty...

It should’ve been 20-0 at halftime IMO. that would’ve negated some of the third quarter scoring. Probably should’ve been a 34-7 final or so.

Biggest stat difference between the two teams, Cats tackles were pretty evenly distributed throughout the team, while each of SEMOs LBs had 10 total tackles each. I guess that’s why Hall was the Buchanan award winner last year, he has to clean up pretty much every play. SEMOs three starting D-line had THREE total tackles on the night, compared to the Cats starters who had 23!
