It's Gold Rush time!

So now we start the campaign of #WinBig and who better to kick it off with than a ranked opponent at the FCS level. SEMO played a great game last weekend and they will come into Bozeman expecting to compete to win against an MSU team coming off a spanking in Texas.

What will Montana State do against an FCS school that plays with the same amount of schollies?

How will being at home translate into a more comfortable and effective Casey Bauman playing QB in front of the home crowd?

Who will be the playmakers on Offense and Defense?

What will Winning Big look like and how will we set the momentum heading forward...starting tonight?

It's time to put to bed all the talk, all the hype, all the question marks...and start winning BIG! I think we win tonight...but "on any given Saturday (night)" the TRUTH will be seen!

Let's go Bobcats!!!

This game just screams "Prepare to be disappointed!" but maybe that's just the Mariners fan in me. It's the biggest winnable game to date in Choate's career. It's under the lights on Gold Rush after a whole offseason of Bobcat hype. This is the best game on the FCS slate this week bar none.

The expectations are way higher on us than the red birds, and the pessimist in me can just see us fizzling.

But on paper (which is a great place for things like communism or a football program in Missoula) we win the battle at the line. They return one OL and although their replacements were very good vs SIU, the pressure we got on a Big 12 OL should translate to a field day. And our OL is actually pretty experienced and one of the best in the Big Sky. We just take care of business in those aspects and the rest falls in to place. Less pressure on the offensive and defensive backfields will be a huge help. Luckily our safties provide a strength vs strength as their WR corps and the arm of Santacatarina were deadly.

Personally, I think we start cold but not as cold as them, and second half adjustments will decide the game. Very excited for this game, I'm just praying with all my might that the Cats #WinBig!

I couldn't care less if we win big, win medium, or win small, let's just get one in the win column and start building confidence in our young QB. He needs to see, and believe, that he can do it, let's hope it starts tonight.

Let’s walk the walk tonight! Been an awful lot of talk and hype about #Winbig. Been a Bobcat fan all of my life and there’s been this feeling of being unable to shine when the lights are the brightest. The FCS world will have their eyes on us tonight. A cool September evening for Gold Rush! Couldn’t ask for a better set up!!! Playoff football.

The spotlight is on Choate, this could be a signature game of his era. I think we have the dudes to do it, "drag them into deep water". #WINBIG

As Lee Corso would say, "NOT SO FAST!" I think this game will be a struggle. I hope this is the year we win big but I don't think today will be the day. I predict we trail 10-7 at halftime but pull out a 24-20 win.

I think this game tells us if Kane is a D-coordinator or not.

This! I think he's going to have a great game.

It looks like next weeks opponent, W. Illinois, is terrible. Colorado State just scored a 75yd pass TD on the opening play of the game.

SEMO is definitely confident and not intimidated by the student section... Hope it's over confidence...
