When he spoke of Booby Hatch, he was very quick and complimentary. He he spoke of Choate, he paused to really think about the words to use. He seemed to love coaching both programs. I just felt that he chose his words carefully when discussing Choate.lutecat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 8:35 pmI don't think it sounded like hard feelings.allcat wrote: ↑Thu Aug 15, 2019 6:04 amHe still danced around it. Re: Ty Gregorak on ESPN Roundtable
He grew up coaching with Bobby. I'm sure they are much closer on a personal level. Quit trying to read too much into a phrase or pause. When he talks about the players he speaks of all of them as if they were his kids. Didn't matter which uniform and that's what really counts.allcat wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 2:55 pmWhen he spoke of Booby Hatch, he was very quick and complimentary. It would seem you are reading in as much as me. I also said he loved coaching both. It also does not matter, whatever is there is between them.WalkOn79 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 3:24 pmHe grew up coaching with Bobby. I'm sure they are much closer on a personal level. Glad he is happy and doing well. Lots of crappy rumors went public (some even by me) and I can’t imagine how tough that was to deal with. I appreciate his dedication and body of work he brought to the CATS. He sounds happy and his family is together, so he has the important stuff covered.

Is this a full time job? Did he decide the medical devices position isn’t for him?

I'm sure it's probably one of those things where he's gotta scratch that itch... The guy lived, ate and breathed football for the better part of the past two decades!
Have no idea how he'll be behind a Mic or as an analyst, but in theory, this is a smart move by Root. The guy was a solid coach for years at two of the charter BSC schools. Really shows their commitment to Big Sky football!
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

That last interview with Colter seemed folksy, easy going, and casual. I’ll bet he’s a natural color guy. I hope they let him keep the hair.grizzh8r wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2019 10:51 pmI'm sure it's probably one of those things where he's gotta scratch that itch... I'm guessing this is in addition too his regular job. The football season is only so long. This would be a fun game to watch/listen too, he would have some good insight.
