Season Tickets Have Arrived!

Post by BethanyCordell » Mon Aug 12, 2019 4:44 pm

Hello, Bobcat Fans!

Our season-ticket books have arrived- hurray! We are mailing them out this week, so be on the lookout... if you are a season-ticket holder and do not receive your tickets by the middle of next week, give either the ticket office (994-CATS) or myself (994-6267) a call and we'll track your package.

Go Cats! Thanks for your loyal and continued support!

Bethany Cordell
I would be happy to stop in and pick up my tickets if the savings in the postage could be donated to the stadium expansion. Is that a possibility? If so I am sure there would be a lot of other boosters willing to do the same.

Going through my ticket book now and I gotta say the work they do on these is awesome. Put together so nice and just has me pumped for the season.

Great job as always!

I like that they sent parking passes for 3 playoff games. I'm planning on using them!

Ticket booklet looks amazing. I can’t imaging how much work goes into that. Big time.

We just got our tickets. Man what a waste of money. It cost $3.85 to mail this envelope. If they sent 5,000 of these that's close to $20,000. I'm sure they could have made something that cost less than a buck to mail. Sure the thing is nice, but I think they could have made it for less. I just think that the success of attendance has led them to just stop paying attention to the smaller costs that eventually add up to large expense.

Now sorry for caring about Cat/griz too much. I've been properly chastised by the coach of the other team. :-^

I believe the consumer paid the shipping expenses. I believe there was a $10 shipping charge added on to the tickets, so it sounds like they made $6/envelope. And, as you suggest, if they sent out 5,000 then the ended up making $30,000. Sounds like good business to me.

;)

Not so good if they could have made $15,000 more.

The booklet generates significant ad revenue.....Hilton Garden Inn, Jersey Mikes, Rocky Mountain Credit Union, etc., etc. don't get their names in that booklet for nothing. I can assure you, the AD is making money on the deal, and wouldn't be doing it if they weren't.

okay, I give up on this one. When I had to go to the post office because it did not fit in the mailbox, I was probably just looking for everything else wrong with it.

That seems fair! I love the work they do on these. This program has come so far and I look forward to more progress in the future.

Bethany - for those of us who bought season tickets late (after July 1), when can we expect to see our season tickets arrive?

And how much more would it have cost to have extra staffing at the windows from now until first game day to pass out tickets?
