It's just modern day slang. Nothing really cryptic in my judgment. A quick Google search for each word should answer any questions. (spoiler alert, they're all pejoratives)

I like it. I think since Bauman was coming from a smaller school, his learning curve was steeper. It stands to reason that he wasn't as good during spring ball since it was less than a year since he'd graduated from a small high school. But given his athleticism, it makes sense that he would make quick progress since the spring. I'm excited the decision has been made, though I would have been good with either guy. Hope Casey continues to make strides and the offense rallies behind him.
I also would have been good with either guy and I think we'll see both take lots of snaps this year.

Are you crazy? They stopped making music in the eighties. I never heard these words from Linda or the Eagles. I don't even know what alternative adult rock is. You are older than me and this makes me worried if you have gotten enough of your geezer on yet. Come on geezer up.

I tried looking it up but still did not quite get the full meaning, other than strange and celibate. :-k

Nope. They did not stop in the 80s--although Paul McCartney and Ringo are still going strong and the Stones played in Denver last weekend...try listening to New Morning Jacket or Manchester Orchestra just to keep up with the kids! Tickets to New Morning Jacket are almost as expensive as a Rolling Stones concert and who the hell wants to go watch an 80 year old man who just had a heart attack try to dance around anyway?

Nope, I don't like any concerts, although my wife is taking me to Music Ranch for a Roy Orbison tribute band. Besides, get off my lawn. \:D/

Incorrect. They stopped making pop music in the 70s. They stopped making rock music in the 90s. They stopped making rap music in the mid 00s. They're still making country and metal.

I'm with you, except that I'd argue they also stopped making country music in the 90's with very few exceptions.

You must mean My Morning Jacket. They were playing Red Rocks in Denver when I was there a couple weeks ago but tickets were almost $200 apiece! So we didn't go. Who can afford that for a family of 3?? It's crazy how much concerts cost anymore.
But I digress...

Long live Randy Travis. When he was trying to get his start they kept telling him he was too country. He persevered and lots of other "too country" artists are glad he did.

Love big hair, metal, most classic and good old soul...

Preach!

And then go check out some red dirt country. Aaron Watson, Jason Boland, Randy Rogers Band, Josh Abbot Band, Casey Donahew...enjoy!

That's not an unreasonable take.
