Just to make you think a little bit! LOL. The thread just actually got buried in depth and I wanted to pull it up.
Even though weβre not done with 2020 yet.
I heard through some folks that Eiden is probably at a way next level. As in a possible full ride to Clemson level, for what it's worth.mslacatfan wrote: βSat Jan 04, 2020 5:42 pmSome great players in this class..... but man I hope we can get Eiden. To me he has the makings of an all time great.
He's clearly the #1 recruit in the state, and he very well may get some FBS offers, but I'd be absolutely shocked if Clemson offered a full ride to a 6-0 230 lb Montana kid.catatac wrote: βTue Jan 14, 2020 1:14 pmI heard through some folks that Eiden is probably at a way next level. Yeah, I've watched him play and he's really good, but I think sometimes we underestimate the talent gap between schools like Clemson/Alabama/LSU and FCS. I know star rankings aren't worth a crap, but he'd have to be a four star to get a look. The difference between the Pac 12 and Clemson is pretty striking even. I'd be shocked if Clemson even invited him to walk on.wbtfg wrote: βTue Jan 14, 2020 4:41 pmHe's clearly the #1 recruit in the state, and he very well may get some FBS offers, but I'd be absolutely shocked if Clemson offered a full ride to a 6-0 230 lb Montana kid.catatac wrote: βTue Jan 14, 2020 1:14 pmI heard through some folks that Eiden is probably at a way next level. Would not be shocked if Dabo offered him a PWO. Kenneth has already attended many Power-5 summer camps since he was a freshman (along with his friend Luke McEndoo). For example...kennethnoisewater wrote: βTue Jan 14, 2020 4:51 pmYeah, I've watched him play and he's really good, but I think sometimes we underestimate the talent gap between schools like Clemson/Alabama/LSU and FCS. I don't know anything about his talent level, but if he's good enough to receive a full ride from MSU this early, I'd imagine he'd at least be offered a walk on at OSU, and that would be pretty difficult to pass up. Not to mention, I'd imagine being a university employee, coach Mac would receive some type of dependent tuition waiver.
Just to clarify, this isn't that early to send out offers for the 2021 class. MSU has already sent out a bunch of offers. At the P5 level, Ohio State already has 9 commits for 2021, and they've sent out 100+ offers.wbtfg wrote: βFri Jan 17, 2020 12:42 pmI don't know anything about his talent level, but if he's good enough to receive a full ride from MSU this early, I'd imagine he'd at least be offered a walk on at OSU, and that would be pretty difficult to pass up. Thank you for the info. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming!WeedKillinCat wrote: βThu Jan 30, 2020 12:00 pmblueandgoldblitz wrote: βThu Jan 30, 2020 11:18 amI'm not trying to derail this thread, but whatever happened to that kid (a running back) from Great Falls that ended up going to Yale and then coming back to Bozeman?
