Stenerud wasn't an total unknown but I wonder what thoughts were going through the heads of the opposition when he lined up for the field goal attempt...

We had Stenerud speak at one of our Park Ranger Booster Club dinner. GOOD GUY!!! Too bad I couldn't have thought of that same question to ask him that night.

Has it been determined that he is cleared to play this year or is that an August decision?

An end to an 18-game losing streak to Weber. I don't really have any memory of the Weber streak other than that we never seemed to beat them. I did not know there was a streak longer than 16. Is 18 the longest one? I guess the team over there slides to #2 again.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this references an 18 game losing streak spanning the 1999, 2000, & 2001 seasons, not an 18 game losing streak to Weber.

Lost 18 straight games from late 1999 to early 2001. Beat WSU to snap streak. Didn’t lose 18 straight games to Weber.

Re the "18-game losing streak" — thanks for the correction. I just read it so wrongly. No wonder I could not remember something that did not happen. Thanks, guys.

You know, we've come a long way since then. It's a mighty hard climb out of a hole like that. Thank you coaches Cramer, Ash, and Choate. The best is yet ahead of us. Go, ‘Cats.
