Don't trust too much on 247 in regards to FCS level, especially with their "warm" and "cool".

It looks like his uncle and and grandfather were professional wrestlers. His dad was a standout linebacker for Texas and played and coached in the arena league.

I would think so. I just spent some time on his Twitter and I can see only one FBS offer, Army. He’s got offers from almost every team in the Southland.

Yeah...but I agree the dude is a beast! Quick off the edge and has speed. Kinda surprised he doesn't have more FBS offers. Huge pickup for the Cats if he comes here.

I see a strong, technical, player in Duncum. Better hand usage than a lot of HS guys that are recruited for FCS.

He has a nice first step, high effort, but his first step isn't reminiscent of Brad Daly. Daly's was absolutely elite. Not many players like him.

Brody Grebe is back in the mix for MSU. Went to a Connecticut prep school to play football and basketball for a year and gain some more offers. Brody added a few more lbs. of muscle and was used on both offense, defense, and special teams. He currently has offers from several Ivy League schools and FBS UMass. He's also beginning to garner Big 10 football interest. Brody was at Cat/Griz and received a full-ride. Sprinkle also likes him for basketball. It has been an interesting recruitment for this kid...that's for sure.

I'd love to see Brody come to MSU. I think he'd be a 4 year contributor and an all-time great. Tough to turn down an Ivy league education though. It'll be interesting to see how the visit from Iowa goes next week.

I'm going to say this, and it might cause a little ruckus. Please understand I'm not comparing the talent levels, but more the role/type.

Brody Grebe, body type wise, and positionally, is about as close to a Troy Andersen replacement as you can get *at this level*. Now he's not Troy Andersen. Andersen is truly a once a generation type player for MSU. But Brody is a heck of a player. Great size, ELITE aggression, very good athlete. Even though he's undersized, I firmly believe that he could play college ball for MSU in a role off the bench. He was, imo, better than the Bellach kid from Manhattan Christian (and he's no slouch!).

I'd love to get Grebe here. Can't say I expected to see his name back in the news here though. Hope it happens!
