Lenzy was injured and didn’t play last game. Not sure what the injury is or when it happened
Lenzy played against Navy, their last game. He hadn't played in the games prior to that.
I was kind of hoping he would continue to not play, and then transfer to be with his brother.

The announcers said he hadn't been playing due to some "fatigue" issues previous to the Navy game. No idea what that means but figured it was an illness or something.

Only saw one guy who looked even remotely close to catching him in those highlights. Looks like a great returnman which we will need next year!

per prior posts, it sounds like he was injured recently? so he will most likely sit out next year. But yeah, looks like one of those shawn Johnson type players that could be our return specialist for 4 years (along with playing RB).

I gotta say something fishy has to be going on with U of South Dakota. How in the world do they get a player from Florida, a decommit from USF, with 8 power 5 offers and 18 FBS offers to go to SOUTH DAKOTA?

His brother plays there.
And don't forget, we have Max Lenzy who has an "offer" from Oregon.
Most offers are conditional. If you see a kid with big FBS offers going FCS, then he didn't have a true offer.

Still committed. Still looking for a better offer.
This isn't a bad thing for us. He's good. Late bloomer. Jaden Smith is his cousin, I believe, so that helps too.

Thanks for clearing up that his brother plays there. That at least makes sense to me. I can see 1-2 FBS offers not being a true offer, but 18??

Pretty exciting. According to Hero, of the top 20 recruits in the Big Sky, 7 are committed to the Cats. That group of 7 does not include Mellott, Robinson, Richards, O Reilly or Ryan.
