Mellott threw for three TDs and ran for another in abbreviated action last Friday.

Robison had a TD pass and TD run in a game that was stopped at halftime with his team up 14-7.
What caused the early stoppage?
Heavy fog and rain.
Thanks TomCat88. Looked on MaxPreps but gave no info...
Must have been NASTY.

Play for PAC-12 power 5 pass happy team in your home state OR play for the Cats and their lack of a passing attack. Tough choice...

He didn’t de-commit.

And it isn't a tough choice if there isn't money involved at Wazzu. Also who was the last QB recruited out of HS to Wazzu that actually played? I believe their last 4 starters, including Gordon this year, came from a JC or another D1 school.

I dunno guys, after reading that story about Mike Leach's QB meetings, it would be pretty hard to pass on that.

Won't be his last FBS offer. IMO.

If he’s still coaching there. They’re 4-4 with wins over No. Colo., Houston, Colorado and New Mexico St. Not to mention the worst blown lead in history.

You serious?

Leach has the best winning % of any coach in the past 50 years at Washington State. The only reason 4-4 is a disappointment is because of what he's done there. It would take a lot to fire Leach.

He may not go after this year, but another year like it and he’s definitely hot seat material.

WSU never got an equal share of Pac12 TV money until a few years ago and they invested it in Mike. Their coaching performance expectations are now higher than they used to be and he can't expect his wit to carry him without the team making significant bowl games annually.

WSU certainly doesn’t need to worry about Leach getting offered another job. No big time program will touch him due to his goofy ways. But those goofy ways may end up to be too much even for Wazzu if he has a couple rough seasons.

“Their dual-threat quarterback – Robison, who is a Montana State commit – is the biggest reason why they are in this position.”

Story ran yesterday after his “opportunity” tweet about Wazzu. I don’t see anything in the story about Wazzu. He still has MSU commit on his Twitter banner/bio.

Great story. Sounds like a bad ass. MSU has two very good QB recruits coming in Robison and Mellott.

If the story ran yesterday, then most likely the quotes came from days before.

I know you're joking, but same size as Prukop.

Size isn't irrelevant, but people can focus on it too much.

That was me quoting the story. I wasn’t quoting a quote from the story.

?? I know...

I was responding to you saying that there was nothing about Washington State in the story. Just explaining the probable reason for that.

The reason there’s nothing about Washington State is he didn’t commit to Washington State. If he had it would be in this story and in every paper in the Seattle area. It isn’t because he had committed to them, but the author just didn’t know that.

He may have interviewed Robison last week, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t know or forgot to change one line in his story.
