I bet they throw the 41 jersey on Troy Andersen and move him to strong safety. The LB group is holding their own without him and we get all those guys back.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we lose Josh Hill after this season. That's a big loss in my opinion.

It is but I fully believe in the development of our LB core under the tutelage of Bobby Daly. It's a loaded room.

Bobby Daly's dad (J Daly) was a great high school assistant coach at Helena Capital for many years. They had 3-4 guys that were there continuously during that time, which is a big reason they were so good for so long. I think he was there for around 20-25 years. I imagine it's in Bobby's genes to coach.

He committed here, came for a week, got homesick and left. He was a very good recruit IMO but didn't work out in Bozeman.

Well, the Cats are also recruiting offensive lineman and runnings backs, all while the line and backs are playing amazing football right now.

Exactly. They don't all have to be related! The coaches job is to make the roster as competitive as possible each year while developing/restoring depth for years to come. I know Paul was just pointing it out as a fact but Grady Robison's recruitment didn't really affect Matt McKay's recruitment. Different years and different competitions. Now of course Grady would've got the opportunity to compete but McKay was recruited to make the Bobcats better by pushing Tucker Rovig and Casey Bauman (assuming Casey will transfer by the way).

I think it might have been Colter talking about Choate recruiting Bauman and saying if QB didn't work out he'd make him into a really good TE. Does anyone else remember this? @Colter_Nuanez

I'd lean toward him transferring but still holding out hope he stays.
