Re: 2020 offers
Last individual camp before fall camp starts. In recent memory, Lane Sumner earned a half scholarship after his performance at this late July camp. Every opportunity counts...especially for the Montana kids.

By the way @kmax , @SonomaCat , @rtb:
If one of you three could make this page and the "Montana Recruits 2020" page pinned to the top, TomCat88 and I can start updating those first pages with recruits.

Looks good. Easy to read and use. From looking at egriz MSU/Choate is way ahead of UM/Hauck in recruiting so far. Do they update their list very often or does Hauck hold off on making offers? They only have three commits and two offers listed. Two other offers that signed elsewhere (both at MSU).

Hard really to gauge at this point in the recruiting cycle. Each coaches goal is to have everything wrapped up by the early signing period in December. There was a rumor going around that Hauck asks the recruits to keep their offers quiet so other schools don't pounce (which I think is bogus). However, Choate stopped putting out the #Boom each time a recruit committed because of the same reason. Regardless, the kid is completely allowed to announce his offer if he chooses. I'm 100% certain the Griz have more than 2 offers out there.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:13 pmLooks good. Easy to read and use. I thought he stopped the #boom because another coach complained that it was basically the same as commenting on a recruit before they’re signed.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:17 pmHard really to gauge at this point in the recruiting cycle. Nope. He stopped for recruit tracking purposes from what I was directly told by people in the know. Not that anyone can really "hide" a recruit these days but his thinking was to at least take his input out of the equation.iaafan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:31 pmI thought he stopped the #boom because another coach complained that it was basically the same as commenting on a recruit before they’re signed.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 1:17 pmHard really to gauge at this point in the recruiting cycle. It's great to see 10 commits before we even hit August. Not too long ago, we would have been excited to see 10 commits by thanksgiving.
