Where can your loyal listeners meet our favorite BN celebrities at the game? You both should wear R&R helmets when tailgating so people can find you. I brought my golden coolie to Montana for the game!
Awesome! I think we’ll head over to the tailgates around 4, not sure where we are going to post up, if anyone has any suggestions let us know.

The 'Cat Prowl is earlier this year - at 3:45. I'm not sure what it will be now that we have the BAC.

Nice job guys. I unfortunately couldn't make Gold Rush in person this year, but it looked awesome on TV.

One thought....I would like to see more coordinated scheduling between the other Bobcat teams and the football team. The idea being that there would be another Bobcat event on the Friday evening before Gold Rush and Cat/Griz when it's in Bozeman. Gold Rush is tricky because it's so early in the year, but maybe the volleyball team could schedule a match on the Friday before. For Cat/Griz, it would be great to see the men's or women's basketball team play the Friday night before the football game.

Yeah, great show R&R!

It would be hard to coordinate that this early w/ volleyball, especially on such a big weekend like Gold Rush. This is tournament season for the volleyball team, so you’re talking about boating 3+ teams on a weekend where the whole town is slammed and booked up. I actually got to go watch them destroy Jackson State the morning of Gold Rush. They’re stacked and going to have a great season!

Sounds like R&R got to hit a basketball scrimmage...unsure if that was open to the public but maybe they could work that out?

Once again fantastic job guys.

I was thinking the same thing you guys were about McCutcheon's targets as the game was going on Saturday. But I realized he was wide open every time. He had 2 to 5 years of separation on almost every completion, and even the drop.

I’m just wondering if his eyes won’t help him when it’s conference time? My bold prediction is Jaden Smith will have a TD- I guess I am hoping we start targeting him more as well. Speaking of bold predictions- do you have one?

I agree McCutcheon was often wide open but whoa! was he really that wide open.

I think as McKay gets more comfortable in the offense he will see the field more/better. His first read has often been there though. On the play where he tried to squeeze the ball in to Snell, Snell was his 3rd or 4th option. Even though he made a questionable decision he did a nice job going through his reads and didn't get happy feet in the pocket.

My bold prediction is that Ifanse goes for 150+. 3 weeks ago I wouldn't have said that was bold but Drake did a nice job forcing us to pass and I expect San Diego will try to do the same, but don't think they'll be able to.

Nice job as always guys! I have an unpopular opinion here. I'm glad they're not running out of the cat head anymore. I think those are cheesy now. It strikes me as kind of a high school thing now, so I for one am glad they're not running out of an inflatable cat. I did like the idea of the players being somewhat hidden from view though, so I'm with you there. Maybe there can be some sort of canopy installed (even just for the run out and taken down after) over those doors where the players walk out

OOC is over after a drubbing of the poor Toreros of San Diego. We recap the game, give our thoughts on the OOC performace as a whole, and preview Portland State.

Congratulations to @tetoncat for winning a Golden Coolie! Reach out to us here on BN or email rrcatcast@gmail.com. Thanks for all your questions, and thanks for listening!

Fantastic as always guys.

The last time we played either PSU or Weber at home was 2017. Back to back games end of September/beginning of October.

The Cats have had some odd scheduling for sure. Not sure if UND leaving the conference had anything to do with it or what but it's notable.

That’s crazy to think about. If you want to spend some time looking at schedules, look at our games against Weber and Eastern recently. Some head scratchers there.

I'd say the Griz crying about 21 and SUU leaving had an impact this year. We weren't even scheduled to play Weber or PSU this year until the schedule change

You know football season is rolling when this weekly thread is near the bottom of the 2nd page.

Cats go get a win in Portland and come back home to face the Northern Colorado Fighting McCaffreys. We also debut a new segment "Around the Big Sky", just a short little 5 minute recap of the other conference action.

Congrats to @bobcatfan123 for winning a Golden Coolie! Reach out to one of us and we'll get one in the mail soon.

Celtic and I have been toying around with releasing a instant reaction pod to bridge the gap of content from Saturday's game till Monday afternoon. The idea is to record a short (20 min) quick take episode on our instant reaction to the latest game. We figured it would be fun to hash out and allow listeners to stay engaged to the game during the later part of of the weekend and going into the work week. We are calling it R&R After Dark. So if you wanted a truncated version of our weekly show, or just want to keep the game fresh in your head, check it out. For some reason I could only get the stitcher link...but its already been released. Let us know if you like it.

Just listened. Great show idea.

I wanted to add what I see from the two games I’ve seen in person plus the San Diego that I missed. Regarding the first half touchdowns the Cats have given up, there’s been two to four #2s in on those drives. Specially yesterday there were to new DEs and I believe either Danny U or young CB. It has seemed to me that the coaches have worked really hard at getting 2s into real live games situations. Ash and Choate used to sub in an entire unit, ie all the 2 LBs for a drive but Vigens crew seems to put one of two on at every level. In my opinion this leads to some mentorship from the 1s and some real live game action for the 2s, unlike playing in mop up duty.

Just my observation.

Personal fouls are mostly ticky tack but a little concerning nonetheless.

Good job Ryans!!!

I totally agree on the Lance M catches, he is mauled on every catch and the ref's who can't seem to not call "holding" on punt return are averse to calling pass interference on any team we seem to be playing.
