Wagner beat Bowie St. 40 - 23 (I assume Bowie is Div 2)
lost to Syracuse 62 - 10
Now after the spanking we received from SDSU how will we fare against Wagner?
At one point in time I thought this would be a fairly easy win, but now I no longer think that.
I still think we will win, but it may be much closer than expected.

I think we win by 25. We will come out ticked off and bring it to them early. Rovig has made it through his trial by fire and Wagner should look like a JV team in comparison. The defense will be looking to make a statement as well. That said I don't think we learn a whole lot from this game. A tight score could always be attributed to the emotional let down and a blowout could just mean that Wagner is really bad.

I'd guess something like 27-13, good guys. Maybe some offensive rhythm and momentum building in the second half. Hope it's a runaway, but will take a win no matter how.

You can watch Wagner play Syracuse on Watch ESPN. They have tall receivers, some decent linemen LB's and DB's, but not much depth.
Syracuse got some breaks early (TO's, big plays, field position), but Wagner played with them for a half and then ran out of gas...kind of like we did with SDSU.

I think we'll see a lot of angry Bobcats this Saturday, and a better Rovig with another week of practice and prep with the 1's.

I haven't kept close tabs on what the number of injured players is and the status of each. The only two I know of are Chapman and Andersen and have no idea after that. Anyone care to fill me in, please?

The Gazette today said Hill, Chapman and Jones are all listed as out indefinitely. Alleyne was a scratch just before game time against SDSU so I would guess he is a game time decision again.
