I talked with Coach Cramsey on Monday, in Central MT. He told me that this was his area now, take that for what you will

2015 Commitment List

Post by FTG06' » Wed Dec 03, 2014 8:45 pm

All I want for Christmas is a legit line backing corps.

And a pass rush.

And Elvis Akpla's twin.

CONFIRMED: MIssoula Sentinel standout Byron Rollins has verbally committed to Montana State. He's a 6-3, 230-pound defensive end

I'll have a story tomorrow. I have an interview with him in the morning.

I kinda like stealing your thunder, especially when I know you are busy watching the Cats try and play bball (only kidding they are just up and down this year)

His dad was Josh Rollins who played O-line for the Cats back in the 90's. Awesome to see him leaving the zoo and coming to Bozeman.

I don't want to put to much hype into him because that's not fair considering he hasn't played yet. But he seems like a dark horse pick to be a good player. Similar to Zach Wagenman out of high school he is 6-3. . . has some room to grow. . . was 2nd team All-State. . . and is from Missoula Sentinel high school, lets see if the coaches can develop him.

Welcome aboard =D^ =D^

Sam Plucker 6'2" 225 LB Kimberly, WI

This kid is from same high school of NDSU SS Colton Heagle.

I think this kid will be good for you!

I like his aggressive ball-hawkiness. Wears that #44 in red well; reminiscent of Brian Bozworth at Oklahoma. While modest numbers on the bench and squat, he seems to have some power and certainly quickness for his size.

These guys are all great, but the key to this class will be transfers to our D. I think we need four players on defense.

Actually, Ash said he was looking for 3, a safety, an inside LB, and a DE.

I completely agree.

2 db's (safety and corner)
1 linebacker
1 de

We have to get at least 3 imo

Ash has said that they are not going to be looking for a drop down corner. They feel pretty good about what they have there with Keeton coming back and the young corners they have: Bryce Alley, Braelen Evans, and Jaylen Price.

Another big OL from Billings. Kyle Reitler is 6'5" and 300lbs. Played for Skyview. He will be a preferred walk-on.

Is it me or does it seem like we have been getting some huge OL in the last couple years, plus most have good weight to start with.

Talk about rolling out the red carpet for RBs and QBs. We've brought in four OL and they average 6'-6.5" tall and 292.5 pounds. Not to mention we have a 6-5, 311, 6-5,274, and 6-3, 267 true frosh.

Anyone know much about Elijah Klein? He's a true frosh out if Tacoma. 6-4, 290. He was all city at DT as a junior. He's in our roster as a OL, but is listed at 6-3, 245. Looks like he may have missed part of his senior year. MaxPreps only shows him in six games (injury?).
