My understanding is that non-Root broadcast Big Sky Conference HOME games will have an internet broadcast.
So yes, you must watch this game. No options. You MUST watch it.
Thank you for the link!ddlalum wrote:http://www.americaonesports.com/upcomin ... bigsky.asp

Well maybe Altitude had absolutely nothing else to throw in that time slot.tdub wrote:That really surprises me that Altitude would be able to pick up this game as well as Max Media. Max is listed on the official schedule as the TV broadcast. Knowing just a little something about the TV industry, companies really don't like sharing viewers with a competitor, hurting its advertising. I wonder if Altitude will be blacked out in the Max Media markets?
Could be. But I still can't imagine how Max Media would be okay with that...unless they knew it from the get-go and were able to get the game at an incredibly inexpensive rate where the profits will still be strong enough. So okay, maybe I CAN imagine it. I did not know that about the Mesa game so maybe that was part of the TV agreement.CelticCat wrote:Well maybe Altitude had absolutely nothing else to throw in that time slot.tdub wrote:That really surprises me that Altitude would be able to pick up this game as well as Max Media. I'm pretty sure that MM bought the broadcast rights, and Altitude will pay MM to broadcast MM's feed.tdub wrote:Could be. But if it was, Altitude can't just pick up the Max feed without some other form of agreement as Altitude won't run Max advertising. Split viewership equals decreased viewership and revenue.
I'm betting you are right. That's the most likely scenario.cats2506 wrote:I'm pretty sure that MM bought the broadcast rights, and Altitude will pay MM to broadcast MM's feed.tdub wrote:Could be.
