Games you are looking forward to seeing the most.

The top 5 games I am look forward too this season:

1. Cat/Griz (who are we kidding, this is the game EVERYONE in Montana talks about! All those "griz" fans come out of the woodwork for this one, and quietly go back after the game not to be heard from again until next November)

2. EWU (a very good team, but I think their defense is going to suck again so get ready for over 100 points scored in this one)

3. ISU (HOMECOMING! Always love homecoming, but I wish we were playing Weber so I wouldn't have to worry at all)

4. NDSU (I sure hope Fullerton is watching the game, so he can see what he missed out on! Hears to the Denver market )

5. SFA (Home opener. Since the OSU game isn't on TV it really isn't going to feel like the football season until this game is played!)

Honorable mention: PSU (If they are as good as predicted this could be a tough game, but I have a feeling they will be a 500 team)

Good idea Mr. Quast; been quite a while since the poll. Agree with another thread and I'm looking forward to all of them but for the sake of this informal poll as of today  :
1. EWU
2. NDSU
3. PSU
4. Fizzlies
5. Poly
6. NAU
7. ISU
8. OSU
9. SAC
10. SFA (read they've had a lot of kids transfer).
11. Weber

1. Cat/Griz- as quast pointed out, every fan of either school looks forward to this game every year.

2. EWU- Cats have a lot to prove after last years disappointment in Bozeman.

3. NAU- I think the lumberjacks are going to have a fire lit under them after they were completely destroyed last year. Should be a much better game, but I still wouldn't mind the same result as last year.

4. ISU- Homecoming can make or break a season and Idaho St. is always touch competition, no matter what the preseason polls say.

5. North Dakota State- very close teams paper wise and both are potential playoff teams so I'm looking forward to a great game

6Cal Poly
7. Portland State
8. Stephen F Austin
9. Sac State (definately have something to prove here)
10. Weber State
11. Ok State

No matter how you look at it, it's going to be an exciting season and I can barely wait.

I might as well post the schedule.

O state, because its the first

Every weekend after that will be an important game because our schedule is so tough. So I will be looking forward to everyone on the list in order.

I'm looking forward to every game this year. Starting with the first one as well. The Cats need to have that 'mindset' that they are only as 'good' or 'bad' as their last game played. We seemed to let down a little last year after that huge win at NAU. The Sac State game they just were not into that game early and got down right away in that game and had to try and claw back. With the brutal pre-season schedule we have this year we have to take each game one by one. I will tell you this though, we should be battle tested though going into our conference opener this year though that is for sure.

CAL-POLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE LOST TO THEM FOR FIVE STRAIGHT YEARS. THAT GAME WILL DETERMINE IF WE HAVE GOTTEN OVER THE HUMP.

Our offense was reall sluggish when we played them last year (drops/not in sync) and we still were in that game. Cal Poly lost 2 of their stud players (beck and that speedy WR) so I have a feeling we get them this year! GRUDGE GAME!

Well if you stop by ours, we're cheap college students so we'll probably have Oly, PBR, or Busch Light. :)

There is nothing wrong with PBR, especially when you are a cheap college graduate! :D

Not that cheap, I didn't see a Keystone or Stroh's (Stroh's is fire brewed).

Ah Strohs, bread in a can as we like to call it.

I could offer you some Hamms!

I nominate Mr. Quast to set up the first beer tasting at the first homegame  Suppose our kindred spirits that have left the John Barley Corn crowd behind (such as BAC) could tell us what to serve such as the wine and cheese (yuck!) that goes with beer tasting formal functions  I like the jerky that comes from Seattle

I am a firm believer that you haven’t really tasted a beer until you are on about your 10th one. To REALLY know a beer, you have to taste it both going down and coming up.

Just for the record, I still drink way more beer on a way more routine basis than any surgeon general would ever recommend. I just layer on some wine and whiskey occasionally as well for a little extra kick.

So if there is beer to be tasted at any of the home games that I make it up for (definitely Homecoming and Cat/Griz), count me in!

I can attest to BAC liking his liquor and we are not talking wine here.

Hope so; intend to find out if a kid from Hilger with us this year has the potential to match the Winifred Red Raiders' holding power tonight

We really need to get a Bobcat Nation tailgate or "beer in cooler" gathering one of these first few games this year. It's fun meeting a lot of the posters on here and talking football. Nothing fancy, just a place to meet up and drink beer and meet some people. Would anyone be up for this? We could all bring our favorite beer and mix and match. I'll trade my Old Milwauki for a cold Coors light? :) What a deal?

P.S - I may even have some cold Yaeger on hand :)
