Some poll.
1) Most memorable sports moment?
MSU defeats LA Tech to win '84 1-AA National Championship 19-6.
Looks like the deck was stacked.

I felt a little slighted when they left the 1984 Championship game out!
When did we get all of these sudden Packer fans? I know that Joey plays for them, but the Vikings are the superior team!
I like that they threw the University of Montana vs. University of Idaho game in there for a rivalry, but you need some other rivalry to make a vote out of it. I was a little surprised that they have received 11% of the votes.
I was wondering how Ryan Leafs Rose Bowl performance made the list (and how he has 8% of the vote). Wasn’t he vanished from Montana?
I like the other sport teams that they have listed for favorites. Almost making up 10% of the votes with the 4 baseball teams listed.
I was wondering how 25% of the people voting could do so without ever visiting Montana. This is not like New York, people don’t know the state without visiting it.

Dana Carvey beating out Gary Cooper will render this poll invalid. Two Oscars (High Noon and Sgt. York -- Classics) vs. a fizzled out SNL career.

Give me a break.
However, it's nice to see Dan Mortenson being recognized.

The Missouri Breaks should've been on that list.

He is from Missoula. I actually lived in Dana Carvey's old house.

Pro team list sucks. I would go so far as to say I dislike all the teams on that list (Except for Green Bay, on which I am neutral).
The Billings Mustangs are my favorite professional team by far.

Who are the Billings Mustangs? Is that a curling team?
Lewis Black on Curling:
"Curling should not be an OLympic Sport,
Blow Jobs should be an OlympicSport,
Because it is harder than Curling and if you are any good at it, you deserve a medal"

The Mustangs are obviously from Billings. If you are too lazy to look it up here it is: they are a rookie league baseball team for the Cincinatti Reds.

I was surprised to see Scott Gragg has the least amount of votes! I voted for him but on second thought I should've voted for Widmer probably.

The Griz are behind in all the categories… I guess that their ballot stuffing isn’t working so well. Some of the posters at egriz are really ticked off. Oh well, it is hard to get a hippie to vote.

No gripes here if you want to stuff the box.
I understand you picking the Cats as the states favorite team....even though everyone knows different. But if you want the state of Montana to be the laughing stock of the country for picking Reno H. Sales Stadium as their best venue then go right ahead.
Please win this and hold it over Griz's heads so you have something to talk about. Then party like it's 1984.

Hey Nick,
Your rhetoric is pretty meaningless considering your comrades' willingness to CHEAT in order to get Monte as many "extra" votes as possible.
Go jack your jaw (and get some original material) on egriz...
