Southern Cal is a hardplace to get Bobcat TV and most of the help/information available is limited.

The majority of the TV offered is either Altitude Sports that was either Channel 406 or 410 last year on a sports Dish Network or Omega (which is local Montana thing?).

The Altitude games have the best chance of being seen in locations via the sports networks. It's an up and coming Colorado company that is trying to expand. Last year was it's first with MSU football and took over some games of Omega (they offered more money than Omega for the rights I believe). But you have to chase down some obscure satellite feed. It might be easier to get this year, who knows.

Doesn't sound like good news for you and you are right, the TV indications on the Bobcat schedule are more for local folk in Montana from what I have seen. Hopefully this will improve, but not holding my breath.

However, the MSU vs UM game does make it on TV in So Cal. You can check for MSU alumni sponsered events to watch the game at prearranged locations.

Didn't many of the MSU games used to be on Fox Sports NW or W a couple years ago, do they still do that? I seem to remember catching a couple of games via DirecTV that way?

Yeah, I remember that 2 or 3 years ago FSN covered a Bobcat game. It was probably FSN Rocky Mountain, as that is what we get here in Bozo. But I think I remember hearing that Altitude got the rights to the FSN games as of last year, hence no more FSN exposure.

Just an update on TV coverage for 05 football. KULR 8 in Billings will broadcast all Cat games with the exception of the Cat/Griz game and 2 games that Altitude Sports still has a contract on, KTVQ will carry the Cat/Griz game and I believe that Altitude will carry the Weber and ISU game. Broadcast will also be picked up in Kalispell, Great Falls, and Missoula via Max Media.

The Cats radio will be carried in Billings on 970 AM KBUL.

This should provide much better coverage than we have had in the past.

Go Cats.

So does this mean no coverage in Bozeman?!?!? That's gonna tick me off if the away games are broadcast everywhere but here.

Thanks for the link.

But if it's on Max Media/RapComm, and not Omega - How am I supposed to remember to drink my SwissMiss and eat Chef Boyardee?

Is Altitude going to screw us again this year and keep us from watching the two games that they have the rights too? What did they do with the games they had rights to last year, did they show them at all?

They were shown on the Altitude network. The problem was that Altitude was not carried by the Montana cable company. Altitude is on both Dish Network and DirecTV now.

Altitude is channel 644 on DirecTV- part of the sports package.

I bet the NDSU/MSU game will be on statewide TV in North Dakota too......a big chunk of the Northern Plains and Rockies will be able to see it!
