Desin or Selle?

Post by cats22 » Sun May 22, 2005 4:55 pm

After Lulay goes the cats are gonna need a new signal caller. And wheres a better place to look than right in the state of Montana. Both Desin and Selle have started since sophomores. And both of them can lead a team. I think Desin would be very similar to Lulay. He would fit in perfectly. Yet, maybe the cats are looking to go to the ground game more. Well Selle is one of the best quarterbacks that I've seen with the play fake and being calm and staying in the pocket. SO who's it gonna be?

Selle throws on the run better and is rumored to be getting D-IA sniffs and looks. Could be a tough recruit to get while Desin is solid I don't think D-IA will come calling

I've heard that Selle is a leaning toward MSU, but will go I-A if the right type of offer comes from the right program. But right now, MSU has the best shot at him.

I'd hate to overlook Desin as he is one of the best leaders and athletes in the state, but I think Selle has the better future. If he could redshirt his first year, then be a soph during Carpenter/Coppack senior year, we'd be set at QB yet again!

Both are QB's at Billings High schools

Selle is the QB at Billings West High
Desin is the QB at Billings Senior High

Anybody got sizes? Desin seems a little small for 1-A but reminds me of another short Montana kid from Great Falls.

What is the word on Carpenter and Coppack? Is either of these guys any good? How old are these guys? Who is #2 on the depth chart?

I thought Carpenter had a little bit better arm and Coppack showed much better lower body strength in Great Falls; appears Carpenter is number 2 going into fall.

Both are RS-sophs. Coppack is a tad on the small side, no way he's 6-0. Carpenter is virtually the same size as Lulay - maybe not the muscle though. I'd say Carpenter is definitely #2 though.

Selle was 6' 2" and 210 last fall as a junior. Trying to find the Desin numbers

Selle is the better QB. I think that Desin is a better BBall player then football player anyway.

Selle started as a junior and will as a senior. Desin has started since he was a sophomore. West just doesn't start underclassmen on the varsity a whole lot but Selle has more upside and a better arm. And his brother did transfer from UM so I hope that UM is a turn-off to Andrew.

Let's just get them both so that the dumba$$es in stinkytown can't have them. That is the best option. Then if one doesn't pan out, we look like heroes for getting the right one.

we dont need both. All we need is hot selle on that football field with tight pants! he would look great on our field! not desin! the only thing he looks good in is basketball uniforms!

We could get Selle for football and Desin for BBall. Ideal fit.
