This morning's Chronicle also reports Isaiah Taito, RB from WA has verbaled to MSU. Also, according to the Chronicle you can take Chris Davis (the NMSU transfer) off the rumors list and put him on the recruits.

Thank you! I was just getting started on a spreadsheet to put on the website so that we can keep track of all the recruits. You just made my job a lot easier. Kris Davis appears to be official as it is in the Helena Newspaper today.

Looks like a pretty good group. Just got new plates for my vehicle--MSUJD8--one of my first vehicles had Don Ueland's number! Anyway, time to make sure we all get to Great Falls to see what the transfers look like and then ensure we have season tickets this year.

Davis is a 5'9 180lb JR.

Also, it's Chris Davis, not Kris Davis.

I was looking on scout.com (the free section), and it looks like Taito had offers from Idaho, Army, UM, and Portland State. Great Job Coaches.

Very cool. Kinda wierd how MSUJD8 could also stand for Justin Domineck who currently wears #8.

Does Kramer go big time on JUCO's and drop downs?

Well CP, that's what I thought. Hope he has the kind of year UCLA thought he was capable of and we got to see flashes of last year! Again, I can't wait for this year.

ISAIAH TAITO: The Shelton senior ran for 1,595 yards on 173 carries and scored 20 touchdowns.

Thats only like 9.21 yards a carry ... he carries on first down .. FIRST DOWN BOBCATS!!! :) I bet he is coming here because he know he can come in and be the MAN early on in his career. He is 6'0 about 200 pounds. Sounds like we definately have a guy who can take it the distance on any given play. That is exactly what we need.

Did we recruit Taito as a RB or a defensive player? From some of the things I've seen, it looks like he is more highly regarded as a DB.....Anyone have the article from the Chronicle in front of them?

Has Andy Barham committed anywhere? And if not who is looking at him?

Chronicle says:

"Taito, a four-year starter, is one of the top-ranked running backs to come out of Washington this year after setting school records for yards in a game (250), yards in a season (1,406) and touchdowns (19) while a junior at Shelton High School.
As a senior, Taito led the Highclimbers to an undefeated regular season before falling in the preliminary round of the playoffs for Class 4A, Washington's largest classification.
On defense, the 6-foot-1, 200 pounder played linebacker....(goes onto say that he also plays BB and runs track, and lists the other schools he considered)."

I hope he comes in at RB for us, but I do remember a certain Joey Thomas who was a stud RB in high school as well (if I remember right) out of the state of Washington.
