I get my Sports Illustrated Year-End Double Issue, open the center fold-out, and there is SI's map of the good ol' USA. Much to my chagrin, our state has been renamed "Grizzyland."
First the Griz play for the national championship. Then Monte is named national mascot of the year. Then the whole state is renamed Grizzyland. Then I open today's paper to see that the hoops team got creamed in Nebraska. Please send me some good news. So far, this is a bit depressing!

The also didn't acknowledge MSU's NAIA or Div 2 titles. Like I've been telling you guys for months now its U of M 2 and MSU 1 in the Chipper race.

Yeah, give the Saints some credit.
Maybe "unheralded championship land", since SI ignored Carroll, Monte, and a truly amazing Lady Griz squad.

Ochs's graduating isn't going to be a shoe in for the Cats as far as putting up a W. The good news for the Cats... they'll have a home field advantage. Something they lacked back in the Cliff days.

Good Point.
