Couldn't be happier; want to see how many D1 kids show up in January and whether or not they were scholarship recipients at their former schools, used their redshirts, greyshirts, etc. Anyone know if the kid from WAZZU can handle punts and kickoffs?

It looks like WSU was planning on him returning kicks for them before he hurt his Hamstring. Here's a quote I found:
Tramaine Murray will be the team's kick and punt returner, taking over for one of the best in school history, Sammy Moore.

I loved that Mansch took the opportunity to squash the fabricated annual rumor about Kramer's departure as well. He keeps an eye on the boards, and it's great that he asks those question to insert a little reality into this internet (no responsibility for what people post) world of ours.

Also, Congratulations Aaron Papich! You've definitely earned the scholarship, and we look forward to you carrying on the tradition of great defensive lineman in Bozeman.

YES! I was very happy to see Papich rewarded for his hard work. Great story and classy kid from his remarks. Hopefully he puts on another 6-10 pounds in the offseason and comes in at a blazing 270.

Later this week is the date when junior-college athletes may sign with four-year schools. Kramer said he expects as many as five transfers from NCAA Division I-A teams to enroll at MSU in January. The transfers, who will be eligibile immediately as per NCAA rules that govern players who drop down a division, are expected to bolster the Bobcats' receiver, running back, safety and possibly quarterback positions.
Does anyone know the official transfer signing date?

There's no signing date for I-A transfers. They become official as soon as they enroll, for whichever semester that is.

I believe today is the first day JC players who will graduate their JC in time to enrole for winter semester can sign (that is a mouthful).
