Thanks for the pics! Really nice to see all sides of the building and since I seem to have no luck getting the webcam to work I am extra appreciative.

Yeah, from my understanding it’s going to be down to the wire. My company designed the lighting controls for the project and we have been scrambling as there has been changes being made. We are rushing to get everything to the site.AFCAT wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 8:05 amI’m scheduled for a tour on 11 Sep. Apparently, Vigen said they were moving into the building at the end of August, which looks like wishful thinking. I wish I could see how far along the construction is on the inside. The Butcher wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 7:25 amDo they have a date when construction is expected to be complete?

I got a private tour a couple weeks ago. It's all hands on deck. The aquatics recovery will be one of the last rooms finished. It took forever to get the pools.AFCAT wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 8:05 amI’m scheduled for a tour on 11 Sep. Agreed, looking great and getting close. Those glass panels can happen quickly (hopefully).

I hope your right but with the number missing they must be hard to get. I am afraid we will be seeing plywood for a good part of the season.RockyBearCat wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 10:04 amAgreed, looking great and getting close. Those glass panels can happen quickly (hopefully).

I was on site Monday and ran into Leon. He said the coaches where moving in just Before gold Rush and the team would have access to the building with a few limitations.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. However, the webcam feed has been a comedy show of ineptness this week and I'm going to miss that too.

I think a grad assistant doesn’t understand technology and it’s his job move the camera angle daily
Or it’s done intentionally and on purpose due to fear the enemy might see one formation, if that’s the case you can still set the camera angle without showing anything on the field
If it’s fear then show the enemy some formations that will never be run
I think the camera should be permanent for fans to see and I would even donate dollars for towards the cause

I’m going to miss most fans thinking staff have nothing better to do than aim a camera at an active construction site. For that I hope they’re a few hiccups and construction runs a bit long.

Surely you jest. Somebody moves it, but they don't have time to put it back?ilovethecats wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 9:48 pmI’m going to miss most fans thinking staff have nothing better to do than aim a camera at an active construction site. I don't think they know it's not focused on the BAC. I was watching this morning and could see the reflection of someone working in that office. They later closed the blinds...no matter how much I yelled or knocked on my screen, they just kept working!

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
I would certainly hope that every staff member in the athletic department has many duties more important than aiming that camera and yet the aiming of that camera after other activities in that room are over shouldn't be too tasking for anyone. There simply has to be a number of people somewhere below the coaching staff that could've handled this. Attention to detail is the mark of a great organization.ilovethecats wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 9:48 pmI’m going to miss most fans thinking staff have nothing better to do than aim a camera at an active construction site. Looks like all the windows on the southside are all in, except for a small one over the door. Looks like it's about done.

Hey Joe Bobcat
You don’t know what you’re talking about because you don’t look at the camera, you are right about attention to details, that’s why the camera isn’t showing the entire field

Re: Bobcat Athletic Complex...Construction
No Autocat it is you that don't know what your talking about. The purpose of that camera was to show the BAC during it's construction. With it focused on the BAC it has shown part of the field from day one and I can certainly understand coach's desire to block the view during practice and I accept that 100%. I've been in the room where the camera is so I do have some perspective of the whole situation. You seem to think that I want the camera "showing the entire field" (your words not mine) . Never and no where did I say that, so just another example of you not knowing what you're talking about. I hope you get your head screwed on better tomorrow and have a good day.

In these crazy times we live in, emotions running high, sometimes people wonder if we really live in the best country in the world. Doubts creep in.
Then remember that while suicide bombers are bombarding airports and wrecking havoc, killing US citizens, we can always argue about the camera placement on a construction site at an FCS school in Montana. And then you’ll realize how truly blessed we all are.
Damn we’re all fortunate!
