First of all, Not a GG person but I admired that if he was going to be in the parade, him and his wife walked. There was no ride for them and they just walked and waved from right behind a vehicle. So it didnt stand out that this was the governor.

I think MSU could've done better on a couple things. They players needed music. When the float passed me, it felt kind of awkward. Have music on the float pointed backwards so as not to interfere with the SOTW playing the fight song. But give the guys something to jam out to at 10am. Make it a party!

And as everyone was waiting for the event to start in the stadium lets not just play easy listening it's music. Lets make it a party!

And then I felt the 14 minute video could've been shorter. It seemed to deflate the energy a little. And maybe at the end done some more slo-mo like The Catch, The Block1.0 and The Block 2.0. And the Extra Point. And maybe don't bring up the mistakes by individual players.

Sunny Day. Couldn't have asked for better weather on a January day. A Sunny Holland day!
I disagree about the video, I thought the crowd enjoyed it.
Yeah, it didn’t seem like it was 14 minutes long. We were all joking around and reenacting our gestures and the emotions we had during those big plays at the end.
Kudos to the media team, really made me go through all the emotions of the game again.

I agree that the video seemed really well done. I thought they had just enough of the bad to show the adversity and how they persevered in the end.

They could have organized the crowd a bit. Maybe just a few more signs to let people know how for they needed them in so we didn't have to do the whole truffle shuffle around all the people that refused to give up their spots.

While I agree that the politicians seemed a bit out of place, it sure seemed like the players appreciated GG being there. It does seem like it would be pretty cool as a player to have the governor personally there to acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishment with you.

I thought the parade was awesome at least from where we were on Main Street right outside the R Bar, but the vibe at the stadium celebration was a little awkward and somewhat flat. If we're (hopefully) organizing another one of these in the near future, please please please drop the politicians and focus more on the team which is who everyone there came to see. The best and most well-received speeches were by the players but those were short and only three guys got a chance to speak. I would have loved to hear from more of the players with shorter video clips and more band/cheer squad participation interspersed. This felt more like a graduation ceremony in which everyone has to sit through the obligatory hour of speeches to get to the part they are actually there for.

100% and don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it too. There's just a couple suggestions.

I was actually surprised Steve Daines, as the Bozeman guy, wasn't there.

I really didn't think that any of the politicians added to the event. The crowd was patient but uninterested in their comments.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

I wasn't there but watched all the 406mtsports videos. I thought Gianforte was fine. He didn't add anything but he didn't take anything away either. He's the governor, an MSU honorary alum (received a decade before entering politics) and a major donor. I don't see anything wrong with him participating. It sounds like Sheehy was really out of place and just trying to insert himself where he doesn't belong (which sounds very on-brand).

Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!

And a kick away from a championship.

Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

I felt like Sheehy looked like someone asked at the last minute cause he was there and didn't have anything prepared and didn't want to waste anyone's time...

He could have seized that opportunity huge and probably even done it in a way that didn't sot him a buttload of votes. "A few minutes ago I had someone ask me to recite a popular cheer\chant that you hear from Bobcat fans all over the state. It happens during a certain Billy Idol song. I'm here to tell you that first part should be reserved for sporting events where the Cats are playing the Griz! With that said... GO CATS GO!".
