Re: The Rematch
I’m hearing reports that the reason that the Griz offense has been so much better since the Brawl is because they’ve chosen to “cut it loose.” It actually has nothing to do with the Cats’ defense.

Line opened -5.5. Its now -3.5. For you non betters that means that they are taking a lot more bets on the Cats to win and cover than the griz so they are lowering the number to entice more gris betters.

I could be totally wrong but I think its the exact opposite of that. -5.5 means we have to win by 6 to cover, doesn't it? I also don't bet...Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:46 amLine opened -5.5. Its now -3.5. I find egriz to be a hilarious, sh*t show, and will occasionally creep on the board when I'm in need of some good comedic relief, although I refuse to ever dignify it with a post. It's a magical place where competing hyper-egos and know-it-alls reign supreme and dissenting opinions are typically met with ad hominems. Lose yourself in the meticulously woven tapestries of their re-shaped narratives that can only be spun by the most self-entitled and self-unaware of fans! Still not satisfied? Then gorge yourself on the sumptuous banquet of CDS (Cat Derangement Syndrome) posts where you can savor unhealthy obsessions with coaching staff, individual players, and opposing fan bases. Hoping to get a job writing copy for egriz. All you egriz creepers please note that I am considering offers.

Pressure is on to make boobie the loosing Dumn coach in history. Make it 8.cats2506 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:42 amI really dont understand the "Pressure" comment. Some of the things I’ve heard reputable people say in the last 24 hours:
-All the pressure is on MSU because they’re at home. UM doesn’t have much at stake and can just play loose.
-The home field advantage in this game is over because MSU won in Missoula.
-If Wortham catches that ball that Dowler picked, he houses it.
-Virtually zero talk about Vigen’s record at home or the Griz’s playoff road record.
It’s astounding. You’d think UM was -13.5.
It makes no sense to me. This is the f#&king semifinals with an opportunity to go to the NC. Cats have the familiarity of being at home and not having to travel.
I think seeing that comment shows how far they are willing to reach to feel more confident about their own team.

The only pressure the Cats face in this game is that they are ranked higher and are favored to win.cats2506 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:42 amI really dont understand the "Pressure" comment. Shaun Rainey just posted information for the Griz on X.MrGoodKat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 8:48 amEvery single objective factor in this game favors the Cats. Every last one. But if you want, you can go down narrative street with the GFP or listen to story time with Uncle Marty.
They have played a team twice in the same year 9 times
They have lost 67% of the second games
They lost every away game in the first and second games

SFA didn't have Demmings either, but I think that every DB that SFA had was better than any that gris have.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 5:05 pmNah, they didn't have Loud in any of those games.cats2506 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 4:31 pmoh, oh. Re: The Rematch
Yup! #12 Mayo on SFA was out there. He was a 6'1 189 pound 2nd Team All American, and I could definitely see why. He basically shut down his side of the field, but we were smart to find the mismatches elsewhere and they couldn't guard all MSU's receivers with just him. One would argue, it's equal to to facing Loud. I know Loud is good and they might have changed up their scheme a bit in the playoffs, which has definitely improved their defense. But much like Mayo, Loud can't guard everyone!cats2506 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 5:15 pmSFA didn't have Demmings either, but I think that every DB that SFA had was better than any that gris have.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 5:05 pmNah, they didn't have Loud in any of those games.cats2506 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 4:31 pmoh, oh. After re-watching the game….
I think Bobby strategically kept the game plan vanilla yesterday, wanting to save the good stuff for next years game…. It’s all part of his master plan.
