Imagine if you can how DOMINANT our OLINE would’ve been if guys had stuck around?? Over the years, the difference between us and the DSU’s has been dominant line play. They had 3-4yr starters that stick around. Ours over the past four years have left for money. If they would have stuck around for National Titles instead, we might have one or two this century.

This years starters could have included Titan/Reed along with Connor Moore and Omar Aegbedion….. crazy.

IMO there wouldn't be a huge difference, the guys MSU still has aren't significantly less talented than the ones who transferred out.

And for all we know this line could be better.

Do we really only have 9 Seniors this year on the roster??
9 Seniors, 18 Juniors. This is a young team.
Loss will be inevitable in the offseason, but if we can minimize it, there should be a lot of talent and playing experience returning next year.

I’m ready to enjoy this year, but it’s exciting to think about how this roster is built and how we should, in theory, be stacked for the next few years and beyond.
We have one of the oldest young teams in the country with how much playing time everyone got in the second half of games last year.

Outside of QB there shouldn't be much drop off. Our kickoff and punt coverage teams may also actually get to hit a few guys this year.
The punting and kick off game will take a step back. :?

It's hard to say since the other 10 guys on the field rarely had to do anything. We'll have to shift our focus from if the KO goes through the uprights to how well we stop returns.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Agree here. There's probably a reason all coaches would take a kicker that can kick it out of the end zone every time.

Titan is in incredible shape. He’s 6-4, 300…looks like 260.
Yesterday, I looked at Tom and said, "Marcus Wehr was a great player, a beast of an OL that should've gotten a shot based on his tape, but that guy will get a shot purely on what he looks like."

Absolute specimen. Flat stomach at 300 pounds, which is just absurd
How does Braden Zimmer look if you noticed? Roster is still showing him 240 pounds but I'm guessing it just isn't updated yet. Also, if he is in fact up to 280 he has some splainin to do to GTapp. KIDDING

I saw him this summer, and he is an impressive looking specimen. He's on the Connor Moore trajectory.

That height and weight is obviously just a flawed copy and paste.

Zimmer is 6-foot-6 and 280-285.

Funny story....at the State AA basketball tournament in Missoula two years ago, I was sitting with my high school linebackers' coach, who is Matt Johnson, still the head coach at Missoula Big Sky. He was telling me about Matt Ludwig, the man known as Moose, who's going to Michigan. Said he was the biggest freak he'd ever seen in Montana. And he coached against Matt Miller, Brock Osweiler, both Dissly brothers.

Later on, I was watching Billings West. And for the first few minutes, I thought Zimmer was Ludwig. And it fit the bill: a raw but super athletic guy with a huge frame. Then I actually saw Ludwig, and couldnt' help but think he looked like a 250-pound teenage Troy Andersen...but was still really impressed with Zimmer.

I've heard nothing but crazy praise for Zimmer. Vigen brought him up as one of the players to watch on the offensive line and he did in the spring as well. Rumblings within the program are that he has true next-level potential. Gotta get into the starting lineup first, but his ceiling is high.

I’m always amazed at how many young OL starters there are. You’d think just getting bulked up would make a sophomore starter rare, but lots of redshirt freshman get in there. I bet there are several OL in the top ten of MSU’s most games started/played list.
