I think you don't get it. Sleeping in until 6 won't get many people very far in life, especially if they want to play on Sunday.

You've got my vote. He's pretty much the only Cat poster here who makes people not want to post for fear of being mocked, belittled, and shamed for simply asking the wrong question. This week isn't the first time he's done it and I'm sure it won't be the last.
I agree on the vote. But as a grown man, I post what's on my heart and my mind. I won't and don't hold back. Bracket is a tool, he knows it, and thinks that he will shut people up by pissing them off. I would love to meet him face to face at a Cat game. Oh wait, that might be hard since he is sitting in Wa-Griz on Saturday afternoons. He isn't a Cat fan.

The good ol' PC crowd out in force today I see. Do you have trophies for ALL the kids after their soccer games tomorrow.

Oh, and to make sure I don't hurt any of your feelers, thanks for PARTICIPATING in this thread. :D

Hell, I got threatened with a timeout for telling someone to chill out  , they were entitled to their opinion. Seems the rules have changed. We may have taken back BobcatNation since the end of last year, but I believe the insurgents have mounted a counter offensive and have retaken some territory. No referees this week, so the baiters, the egriz trolls, the mascarading griz-fans-as-cat-fans and disgruntled Cat fans who choose their first posts to be "fire all the coaches and bench the pre-season All-American QB" - have all had free reign to wreak havoc. There's been some constructive talk about the defense and needed improvements, but frankly most of this board has been garbage this week
Disagree slightly, end of the year is the appropriate time to discuss the coaching situation. Some of you may not like it but Ash has not earned coach forever status in my book. I realize that we are not going to make a change mid season and therefore I support the student athletes and coaches we have now but if at the end of the season we have another year where we miss the mark as far as late season games go I think discussion about Ash's(and the rest of the staff's) abilities will be appropriate.

At the end of last season it was clear that there is a group of posters here who believe that because our athletes graduate, stay out of trouble and win more often than lose that Ash has been a success. I disagree with this point of view but will reserve any comments about the future of the program until our coaches have shown what they can do with this years team and a full season to improve.
I crafted a really nice reply to you this morning, then accidentally deleted it  You and I are probably a lot the same. I agree with you, there is a time and coaches are open to criticism - they're very public employees. I just don't personally like how some posters have approached it. I like to have a rational, calm discussion - not a knee-jerk "everyone needs to be fired because they're idiots" talk - there's no discussion when people throw insults. I don't think I'm an apologist for the staff - I don't have a dog in the fight. I just disagree with how some approach it I guess.

That's fair and honestly I was one of those going crazy after last season. It's frustrating cause I want the program to take the next step so badly that when it doesn't I find myself acting like a football game is way more important than it truly is.

Like I said, there is an appropriate time for discussing our coaching situation but now isn't it. Tomorrow we have a chance to get back on track and hopefully stop the bobcat nation meltdown.

Good grief. I leave the country for a few days and I return to find that everyone is in a REALLY $hitty mood on this board.
