It will also keep more noise in the stadium and reflect it back towards the field.
Good point. The unique thing about Bobcat Stadium is that the fans all make noise. Seems like if you don’t you are looked at like you’re not a Montanan or you’re subhuman, which is synonymous. I’ve been to lots of big college and pro games and probably only half the crowd is cheering during big plays.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Have been at away games and the local Bobcat fans aren't aware of the requirement to make noise and the appropriate times to do so. The away opponent fans also look at you like you are nuts, but it doesn't stop the Bobcat Stadium faithful from making as much noise as possible.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

Four supports towers up now. Crane and workers in the area. Bunch of jackhammering going on around the steps on the west grandstands.
Screw you east siders, we're getting even more handrails on the best--I mean WEST--side!
But isn't that also the cold side?

It’s not the boiling hot side.

I run a pretty high core temp, I'm fine! And yeah I'll take the shade in September. But really I was just kidding...I'd like to have seats on the east side in October. In November it's cold whether you're in the shade or not.

It’s funny and a bit sad that the few updates we are getting on this project are coming from Bobcat fans and not MSU.

I sincerely hope that MSU staff has more important tasks than informing a bunch of nosey folks on BN on construction status.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

You mean the social media folks at MSU in charge of putting out this type of information on their social media platforms?

Or, progress on the largest stadium improvement project in the past few years. People are interested. There is even this thread on BN about it.

BTW, they can monetize their social media platforms and gain more followers and earn more money by putting out more content.
MSU doesn't have an enormous following (e.g., millions of followers) on social media but more than a lot of schools in FCS and even FBS. I've always hated that they don't put all their short videos in one place, like Youtube, and link the videos from there. They already have enough followers to make money on Youtube alone. Keep building on their social media platforms and try to earn more money from it.

Have you considered offering your services to help them?

Yes, I’ve given advice on this subject to the athletic department a couple of times, but I’m not employed by the university. I also don’t live in Bozeman, so it would be difficult for me to work social media for them.

Social media is not location dependent.

It is if the content you are trying to film, photograph, or record isn’t in the location you are currently in.

I’ve written some content for them in the past from my home though.
