This young man has "Montana State '26" typed on his twitter page and is followed by a lot of coaches, including Vigen, but hasn't tweeted any offers or commitments. I'll keep an eye on him.
Looks like he originally signed with Southern Oregon. Here is the info from signing day. We must be giving him a chance to walk on.
LUCAS TUSKI | Eugene, Ore./Marist HS
RB | 6-1, 215 | HIGHLIGHTS
Notable: Ranked second in the state across all divisions as a senior with 1,785 rushing yards – averaging 137 yards per game and 11.2 per carry for 31 total touchdowns … Led Marist to a state championship game appearance.
Coach's Quote: "Lucas is a big, strong, powerful back. He's a physical guy who makes defenders feel his presence when he runs. Lucas will add a great deal of physicality to our run game." – Austin Brown
This is pretty intriguing actually. Went to a pretty small private Catholic school, something like 500 students. So hard to gauge his actual skill level, looks polished but not necessarily fast. But also interesting is that he was named the 4A defensive POY at OLB.
So he was actually 1st team RB and 1st team and DPOY at OLB, in the same season. Wut.
The MVP of that classification (4A, the 3rd largest in Oregon) is commited to Oregon State.

Heading into the year in which he was 1st team RB, DPOY at LB and took his team to the championship game (lost):
Lucas Tuski, Sr., 6-0, 195, Marist Catholic
Tuski isn’t just one of the top players for Marist Catholic; he is one of the top players in the state — at any level. His impact at linebacker was just as significant as what he posted in the offensive backfield, and Spartans coach Frank Geske believes there is plenty more to come. “He’s kind of transformed himself,” Geske said. “He’s a heck of a lot faster and he’s dropped about another 10 pounds. He’s running a legit 4.5, 4.6 in the 40-yard dash. He’s going to have a great year.”

Wow. Like it! Will be fun to watch how he works out. If he is a walk on, maybe the school can’t comment until he reports to class?
He returned kicks in 2019 in the first four games then redshirted. Maybe that's where he's being cast. He didn't see any action last year.
Opponents attempted 58 kickoffs during the year with 24 going for touchbacks and another 24 being fair caught. Of the 10 that were brought back, Marqui Johnson accounted for seven returns. All of those efforts came in the first four games of the season where Johnson averaged 20.4 yards per return before redshirting.

Vigen liked his post. I won’t add Johnson to the list until there is some sort of confirmation.

Pinned Tweet.
I know, but he hasn’t said he has committed yet. I believe he has probably committed based on some of the comments on the post though.
So, the Cats are about a month out from Fall camp. There are around 35 probable incoming players. Are any of those gray shirts? Will there be any additional signees? We know the Cats wanted at least one additional defensive linemen. Just a few weeks to go and the roster may not be complete. It's starting to get interesting again.

And another o-lineman?
Or 3

They like their interior group. Marcus Wehr was much better than expected upon his move to offensive guard this winter and JT Reed, Cole Sain, and Joe McElroy provide three more quality lineman into the rotation. Rush Reimer had a great spring at left tackle but that right tackle spot is now Jacob Kettels to lose (who has dealt with injuries since his senior year of high school). Jacob is arguably the most talented of the entire group but they need quality backup there. Holden Sampson likely is going to be the swing lineman this year as he can play every position on the line. Still want a transfer tackle to come in and compete. That hasn't changed since this spring. And yes before we start talking about "if they are an oz under 300 they can't play", 3 or 4 of the 5 will be close to or above 300 by the fall.
Also still want to bring in transfers for competition at DE/DL and LB. WR got taken care of already.

Coaches are sure bringing in a lot of kids - although many PWO.
Qb room would have:
Tommy Mellott
Sean Chambers
Sean Austin
Jordan Reed
Luke Abshire
?Chace Pence?

Well, this is a bit of a head scratcher. Not sure the Cats needed another QB. His highlights don’t show any running ability, just throws. He has decent size (height), maybe he will be playing a different position. The Cats now have upwards of 36 commits and signees, with a possibility of more to come. That’s a pretty large class.

I'm with you - hope he does well at whatever position he plays ... but that QB room is pretty set and young (1 sophomore, 1 junior, 1 redshirt freshman, and 2 true freshmen). As of now, all return next year and I'd imagine the staff is trying to get another QB for the class of '23
Curious about the updated roster - with 36+ kids coming in, we will have quite a few guys who either left for another program or decided to hang up the cleats.
It is a bit of a shock how many incoming guys are PWO's I believe roughly 13-14 incoming are. Good competition I guess
Doesn't really matter what the total number is, It's how the 63 is counted. I think the new total won't go over 111. Simply because that is how many lockers there are.
