My boys are fans of both teams, and one of them had Griz socks on before we left. I was like "absolutely do not wear those unless you want to be called out in front of everyone"

At the MSU basketball camp in the mid 80's, and player from Missoula was in camp with a tee shirt that said MSU and Bobcats had a line through it, and below said kitties.
Mick Durham was running the camp called the player up in front of the whole camp, chewed him out hard and made him run the stairs in the field house.

I also coached at Gonzaga camp one year and they did the same thing if you wore gear from any college other than GU.

Speaking of safeties/DB's, does anyone know if there is a time table on Caden Dowler's return from his ACL surgery? He tore it pretty early in the year which makes a week 1 (week 0?) return within the realm of possibility though with ACL's there is obviously no guarantee.

I know he signed with NIL Elite for the season. I assume he’s back by the first game or soon afterward.

When I was a very young fella, I attended a football camp over the hill. Several kids there from every corner of the state. One of those young bucks was Shane Collins. He wore a Cats 84 National Champs tee shirt to camp one day. The gris assistant coaches tackled him and shredded it.
