That kid reminds me of oh yeah that guy that just left QB. He has a much better arm than oh yeah that guy that just left our program.

You mean the guy that just graduated? For crying out loud people, student athletes have been graduating and moving on ever since college football began let's get over it.GrizgradCatFan wrote:That kid reminds me of oh yeah that guy that just left QB. Hank Hughes looks to have every skill that any football program could ever want to see in a high school senior QB and he looks better as a high school senior than the guy who just graduated from our school and moved on did when he was a high school senior. I have to wonder if an FBS program has started talking to him or if his de-comitting could have anything to do with our recent and current QB situation.

Didn't Coe and Devereux both graduate and leave early? One for grad school and one for the Navy? The way I see it those guys, like Prukop, left to better themselves. I don't recall anyone having much of a problem with it for the latter two. Not sure how this is a problem just because Prukop's desire is to better himself by increasing his chances at playing in the NFL.

Logic and reason have no place here Tom. You too should be acting like a f--k'n baby because the kid who gave us two amazing years on the field and apparently worked just as hard in the classroom wants to challenge himself and maybe make his future better. How dare he!

Looks like some MSU recruits are doing well this winter season. Karl Tucker getting almost 20 a game, Sean Opland getting a double double both games, and Jake Sessions ranked #1 in the HWT wresting division.

I like football players that COMPETE and not just in football. If you are a good enough athlete, you should have a desire to play other sports. I like competitors!Bemiller49 wrote:Looks like some MSU recruits are doing well this winter season. I have heard that exact same thing from quite a few college coaches. They want kids that compete all year round.VimSince03 wrote:I like football players that COMPETE and not just in football. Re: Montana Recruits 2016
My statement stands correct. It is true that since 2006 the graduated student athlete with eligibility remaining has one more option available to them so what it's only one more option. I like to see us get and keep great athletes but I can't begrudge any graduated student athlete for moving on to what they feel is the best career move for them, be it armed services, grad school, high paying job, or another college sports program that they feel prepares and positions them better for a shot at the pro level.BleedingBLue wrote:2006 is forever? Saw Hadley play bball tonight. He is a definite scholly caliber athlete. The kid is a beast. I'd offer him. His ceiling is very high.

I definitely didn't realize what caliber of athlete he was. Impressive.VimSince03 wrote:I think he has already been offered by both schools.LTown Cat wrote:Saw Hadley play bball tonight. He is a definite scholly caliber athlete. The kid is a beast. I'd offer him. His ceiling is very high.

Not the best route runner yet but he sure can go up and get the ball. Made some stupid good catches this year. Also a good blocker. Can't teach 6'6" and athletic!LTown Cat wrote:I definitely didn't realize what caliber of athlete he was. I have no idea what his family allegiance is, but I know his sister goes to MSU and dates Brott, so at least we have that going for us which is nice! U know like receiving totally consciousness, so we got that going for us, which is nice.LTown Cat wrote:I definitely didn't realize what caliber of athlete he was. Per Colter's Twitter, Balue Chapman has officially picked up an offer from Montana. Holds offers from us, them, and Idaho. Believe me, we are still the front runner. The Gatorade Player of the Year usually always get offered by both schools.

Re: Montana Recruits 2016
Choate has now followed these Montana recruits who have not committed yet:
Balue Chapman
Chase Benson
Kyle Finch
Cole Rosling
Trace Bradshaw
Jacob Hadley
He already follows:
Karl Tucker
Sean Opland
Derek Marks
Michael Jobman
Does not follow:
Jake Sessions
Jered Padmos
But both of those boys are good to go on their verbals. I'm surprised there is no Payton O'Reilly action. Also, there are about 15 more kids from Montana that could be preferred walk-on candidates. It was a deep linebacker/defensive line crop this year.

Re: Montana Recruits 2016
I really want to see Chapman, Benson, and Hadley commit. That would put a nice exclamation point on our in state class this year. Any after that would be icing on the cake.VimSince03 wrote:Choate has now followed these Montana recruits who have not committed yet:

Re: Montana Recruits 2016
After watching the tape over and over again, I'm starting to believe that Kyle Finch is the biggest underrated player in this class. He just gets after it and has the frame to add on weight at 6'4", 215 lbs. right now. He reminds me of Wagenmenn out of high school.LTown Cat wrote:I really want to see Chapman, Benson, and Hadley commit. That would put a nice exclamation point on our in state class this year.
