Growing up a cat fan, but graduating from UW. I am both disappointed and happy about Dawson. I would have loved to see him be a bobcat, but very relieved he at least stayed home to be a cowboy. Very happy he didn't go to BYU

As far as Davis goes, he may be the kid that was the main focus of that Gerald Alexander "California recruiting" tweet. He was confirmed by Colter to come up on a visit the weekend of the 22nd. But then he didn't come that weekend and then the tweet happened. Anyway, I hope we can land Tolliver. He is a three star corner and it is a legit three star. He will likely announce his decision on signing day.

Actually, we may get a few signing day surprises. Kids commit without coming on visits every year so it wouldn't surprise me one bit this year if that happened. Things will become more clear these next two days. From doing some twitter stalking, it looks like all of our current commits are locked in. Personally, I would like to see us add a TE, 2 DBS (corner and safety), and a DT before signing day. Also keep in mind that Choate will hold onto scholarships until he can find a drop-down or transfer which will likely happen after spring ball or during the summer.

Vim, do you think they may flip Connor Floden to DT? At 6'1" and 275 could be a run stuffer in the future.

I was thinking the same thing

He should play offensive line in my mind. I know everyone (including myself) wants a DT but Choate & Co. only offered some higher profile guys like 3-star Elijah Piper (Fresno State commit) among others. He didn't really go after any fringe guys which leads me to think he is after a transfer/dropdown.

Current players on roster who will or could play on the inside:

Joe Naotala - 6'2", 275 lbs.
Matt Brownlow - 5'9", 305 lbs.
Riley Griffiths - 6'3", 260 lbs.
Zach Wright - 6'2", 250 lbs.
Robert Wilcox - 6'1", 260 lbs.
Chris Robinson - 6'3", 252 lbs.

Also, I would not be surprised if Monte Folsom (6'2", 300 lbs.) was one of our starting DTs next year. Guys like Zach Wright and Chris Robinson were recruited as DL and were both DE's in high school. Actually, I heard nothing but really good things about Zach Wright and how big/strong he has gotten since joining the program two years ago. If I see him up around 265-270 next year, he will be playing inside. Really guys, it all depends on scheme next year.

Before anybody gets on here and says he shouldn't say that, just remember during the cat/griz games the past two years players and coaches for the griz chant FTC on the sidelines in a big huddle. During Reynolds' senior year the players for the griz had FTC all over their arms, and I believe Gratton went into the post game interview with it still visible on his arms.

I assumed Jacob was a partial and Kyle was possibly a PWO. Regardless, very glad we got both.
