Re: NDSU FRISCO Part Deux
Getting back to the Part Deux part of this thread.
NDSU had at least 8 players on its offense that are starting or on the active roster in the NFL currently off the 2021 team, including the QB, WR, RB and the entire offensive line --- that's right, the entire NDSU OL in 2021 is either starting or playing significantly for NFL teams. That might've been the best offense in FCS history. I don't think this year's offense is anywhere near as good.
MSU played that game with essentially its third string QB. When Mellott got moved to the starting spot, the would-be backup (McKay) quit, thus moving Rovig to No.2.
MSU was also without DT Chase Benson. MSU was the No. 8 seed, NDSU was the No. 2.
MSU leads NDSU in three very meaningful stats by a significant amount: yards per carry by 1.9, yards allowed per carry by 1.2 and yards per play by 0.9. It was almost the exact opposite last time they played in the title.
MSU is a vastly more physical team now than it was in 2021.

Yes, and #14 (fakebison?) is listed on the roster as being from Fargo! The MICKSTER wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 12:28 pm4KornerKat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 12:16 pmiaafan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 11:26 amNdsu didn’t have game won. NDSU played #20 Colorado to last second, you barely beat 5-7 New Mexico
NDSU has a much tougher schedule in conference than the big fluffy schedule you got.
Montana States schedule has no one on it that punched you in the mouth, that includes the sissy ass grizzlies...
After allowing the score to lose one of your players took one of the biggest cheap shots I’ve ever seen. Then he flopped onto the ground in a pathetic attempt to get out of it.
Ndsu only managed 3.5 per carry vs USD, while MSU got 4.8 despite playing with two <100% RBs and without its best RB.
No wonder you don’t want to use USD for a measuring stick.
You didn’t take Colorado to the wire. On the final drive you had no chance to score because your qb doesn’t have a strong enough arm to get the ball to the end zone. The only reason you got that much of a chance was because Deion was being Deion and ignored managing the clock.
Very astute of you to point out that no one has punched MSU in the mouth. No one would dare.
I think you are referring to #14 in this clip. Classic. That's HILARIOUS!!! it appears that NDSU has an excellent Drama Dept.

Vigen will be gone, so will your OC. they shouldn't stay with the new portal and NIL, etc, Wazzu might force the issue
NDSU is hungry & Ready to take back their rightful Throne in Frisco!!
sect 102-109 is NDSU.
Scruffy's and Wild Pitch and Tight Ends have renewed their NDSU donations, so you might want to avoid those.

Re: NDSU FRISCO Part Deux
Not to mention the NDSU defense was well rested going into the final 4 minutes after a 20 play 99 yard drive that last almost 11 minutes. They got help from the refs during the last 4 minutes also. The refs didn't call a penalty (until #14's cheapshot/theatrics) on NDSU during the stretch and hit USD with two.Cataholic wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 4:53 pmThe only score that matters is the final one.lakesbison wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 12:16 pmi shouldn't of thrown the firecracker into your room and ran out

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

Or better, the Tommy Mellott: scores touchdown, drops ball, sees ref looking for ball, runs over and grabs ball, and then gives to ref.iaafan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 6:54 pmHe’s not exactly the Earl Campbell of fans. Our offense gifted the Lobos 14 points. Our defense really only gave up 17 points.lakesbison wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 10:08 ami wouldn't put stock into a dick measuring contest over pud south dakota. NDSU had that game won handily and messed up.. lessons were learned.

NDSU has a much tougher schedule in conference than the big fluffy schedule you got.
Montana States schedule has no one on it that punched you in the mouth, that includes the sissy ass grizzlies...
Since the UC Davis game, MSU has beaten every opponent by two or more scores (except Davis), and the combined W-L of those teams is 50-20. Even including the Davis game, MSU's margin of victory over that span has ben 20.8.
NDSU has had our number since 2010, so I'm not about to say MSU will win. But if any MSU team beats NDSU, this is the year.
