So he needs to average 126.5 yards in the next 4 to get it in the regular season. I think it's doable with Kirk, but he's struggled to get yards against the Griz. Does anyone know what he's averaging per game this year?

He needs 606, so that'd average out to 151.5 over four games. It will be tough, especially if he has another low number vs. UM.

updated- lots of guys moved up different lists this week.

Looks Like McGhee will pass Dickenson in 2 categories next week...

Daly is having a monster year! Can you say back-to-back Buchanan Award winners................. [-o<

Kirk has a decent chance of beating Don Hass's rushing TD's in a season record....

143 yard average in the last four games for Cody to approach the record. Do-able, but might be a tall task!

His career high is 202 yards against Northern Colorado in 2011. If he could equal that, he'd need to averaged 122 yards per game against EWU, SUU and UM to break the record. Also, playoff games count so he likely has at least 5 games left, so he'd need to averaged 121 yards per game over five games. If he got 200 this weekend, he would need to averaged 101 down the stretch to get the record.

200 against Bumpas and Co?

Would be cool but a long shot!

I would also hate to see him worn down before the EWU game.

We aren't playing for records, as Cody, DeNarius, Tanner and many others have said continually throughout the season.

Hopefully Cody will get at least 3 playoff games. Then it becomes almost a given. =D^ =D^

updated from Weber State-

I added the All-Purpose Yards in a season to the list, which Shawn Johnson is now sitting at #10- He has a good shot at breaking the season record.

Rushing Touchdowns
Game: 7, Archie Amerson, Northern
Arizona vs. Weber State, 1996
Season: 25, Archie Amerson, NAU, 1996
Career: 57, Charles Roberts, Sac St., 1997-00
Not much help, but Roberts is No. 1 for career rushing TDs. I got this from the BSC and UM site, but it wasn't from a list of most touchdowns rushing.
Dunn, PSU, had 54; Reynolds, UM and Foger, UNR, 52; May, Idaho, 50; Chatman, EWU, 48; Smith, WSU and Humphrey, UM, 43; Fuqua, PSU, 41.

I love that we are seeing some of the greatest offensive and defensive players in MSU history and I love seeing these stats but it bothers me that the BSC stats don't count playoffs. Kind of makes those (BSC) lists worthless. Why can't they go back and add them in--couldn't be too difficult.
