I don't think MSU will ever have a blowout win in Cheney, but it's great to win three in a row there after so many losses and weird games there over the years. Win and get out of there for the next two years!

And it sounds like they are ditching the dumb red turf.

They posted something on Twitter/X on April Fools Day about replacing the red turf. That was a joke, and I have my doubts that they would replace it if they made an April Fool's joke about it. Just my guess though.

Anyone know anything on Marqui Johnson? I know he's been out several weeks but has anything been said by the coaches? Kick return has been a bit of revolving door and minimal results since he went out, with Adam Jones and Rohan Jones both back there this last week.

To be fair, the results were minimal with Marqui this season and last as well.

You could see apprehension in his kick returns. I think he was dinged up and not performing 100%.

Vigen even said (I think in post game comments) that it was precautionary. Sounds like he could have played if it was a more formidable opponent.

I thought multiple posters said Marqui was out for season? Who knows. Really sucks for Perk. Crazy that he literally almost missed, and might still miss his entire season. BOO. Also, has Elijah Elliot been playing at all?

I've been having a lot of fun watching Justus on the sidelines this season, he seems to basically be acting as an unofficial assistant OL coach down there. Super into the game and always supportive of his teammates. At one point on Saturday he went up to Al Johnson and told him something, and Johnson immediately went down the sideline to talk to Vigen. He hasn't played in a game yet but I guarantee the team is still better for having him on it.
