PA Announcer

All other things Bobcat aside, the stadium announcer has to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was sitting near the Chadron supporters and I was so embarrassed! It just got so everyone would cringe when we heard the spiel starting again.

Serious question: Who is this guy's boss? I was not unfortunate enough to be at the game yesterday (ha ha), but if this is the same jackass we had last year, I would like to voice my opinion to the person in charge of hiring him. It is one thing to just be annoying, but it is absolutely INEXCUSABLE to mispronounce our own players' names - they deserve far better than that. It is also inexcusable to not get the name of our own freaking school correct. What a slap in the face. Being annoying is just the cherry on top for this moron.

I qam calling the athletic dept. tomorrow to voice my displeasure. It got to the point where we left the game. We couldn't stand him anymore!

So, is it Tato or Tito? The announcer kept calling out Tito and we were pretty pissed about that; we were thinking it was Taito. Was I wrong?

p.s. I know it's spelled Taito.

I noticed that last year, too. I was wondering if it was just me who noticed.

Hey! I'm a taxpayer, too! I say we all look the other way (in terms of costs to the taxpayers) when the Cats have a home game. Come on, now. Fuel costs of an F-16 are nothing compared to driving a pickup round trip Billings to Bozeman each week. Heh.

There should be fly-by's to kick off every game. And at least one for every touchdown.

Any way we could upgrade the arty to 105 mm?

I am just going to toss this idea out there. I have never announced a game in my life, but I think I would be really good at being the PA guy. If anyone gets asked who they would suggest, I am all for giving it a try!

It is spelled Taito, yes. It is pronounced "tito".

I have not received any responses to emails sent to the MSU athletics administration regarding the announcer.

If anyone gets a reply, please let us know so we can see if they are dealing with it.

I have my doubts anything will change either. They might give the guy a better briefing but he is obviously not paying attention to what he is doing so performances will not change.

Personally the music is what bothers me the most. Do they just turn on the radio and whatever song is on is what gets played.

Nothing like a little "Afternoon Delight" to get you pumped up for som football
