Tired of this criticism. He wants to control going into halftime and coming out.
He makes this 1st down and gets a score, coming out at half we go ahead and crush ndsu's will to play.
But he didn't. The cats played lousy the first half.

If your only complaint is one play out of 72 games over the course of 5 years, that's pretty good. Maybe it's not worth dwelling on that play. Especially since it was a judgement call and many others think it was the right choice.
