Griz dropping to 4 likely means Tarleton jumping them. Currently they are in a fight with Austin Peay. A Tarleton win certainly makes a drop to 4 likely.

I don’t see Tarleton jumping them with a win, and that’s not looking like it’s going to happen anyway. An undefeated Lehigh might though.

Tarleton not only has to win today (losing at halftime) but they would have to jump Lehigh who was ahead of them on the last committee rankings. It's not happening. The lowest the griz will be is 4 behind Lehigh but I'd be really surprised if they don't hold onto the 3.

I am guessing he was a Gris employee to be running the machine. They wouldn’t just let any fan run it. What a terrible trashy look from a trashy program.

Tarleton would have the win against Army & a win against 3 bubble teams in APU, SUU, and West Georgia. (all 7-5 or better). Plus they rolled common opponent PSU 42-0. And they have a lot better score differential.

On paper, theres zero reason that any reasonable person would rank the pandas above the Texans (no real reason to rank them lower, either)

IMO theres almost zero difference in the resume between the #3-#5 teams.

That was their DJ, doing typical gris ******. If he isn’t reprimanded or removed from the stadium act, they are even more classless than I thought. I guess lucky the guy he did it to had some restraint. Most of the people I know would have probably lost it, kudos to that guy.

You might be onto something there. The guy next to the one getting sprayed had Cat gear on and was smiling and videoing it with his phone. I'm not saying it was justified, but it might have all been in good fun. Maybe we'll get an answer as to what was going on there someday

Everyone getting sprayed by the DJ was standing there smiling and dancing. The DJ was grinning too. It wasnt malicious. All in good fun. I thought it was pretty cool the DJ not showing sour grapes.

It did seem as though our griz fans were just a little cockier than usual this past week. Saying Griz should open as 7-10 point favorites. Line comes out and they talk about taking out a mortgage to bet on Griz as it’s such easy money. Talking up their crowd noise which incidently, I didn’t feel was as loud as I’ve heard it before. Suggested the griz were better at nearly every position. Etc.

I was very used to this in their heyday 25-30 years ago. But we’ve now won 7 of 9. We just beat them in their place with a team nearly all of them said wouldn’t be good because we lost Tommy and others. Just so short sighted in so many ways.

I didn’t think the Cats played particularly well but I’ll NEVER complain about a win. Especially in Missoula. Even after the loss some are suggesting they’re still the better team and will win in Bozeman. I want that game to happen SO bad! We’ll beat them by 20+ at home I believe.

And the icing on the cake for me was the outcome of other games. We had to listen for 3 months how crappy we were to lose at home to SDSU. The rabbits were terrible they said. After barely beating UND suddenly you’d think UND was better than the Bison the way they were talked about by griz fans. Just like eastern with their 3rd string qb was actually really good! And don’t forget Idaho! Before injuries Idaho was really good!! Oooh, and Sac state. They were a really tough team that was gonna beat Davis who I was told wasn’t good. In fact many were saying after our 17 point win over that RANKED opponent that they actually felt BETTER about the griz chances playing the Cats.

Hmmmm. Really crappy SDSU beats incredibly good UND IN North Dakota. lol. Davis somehow beats that talented Sac team. It’s literally like almost everything some of these fans say is just 100% opposite of reality. And frankly I’m here for it. I hope they get the 3 seed and I hope they make it to Bozeman. I hope they’re just as overconfident as they were last week. I hope they all think the griz are the better team and the Cats just played perfectly to eke out a 3 point win. I hope they keep blaming refs all the way until our meeting on the 20th of December. Then I hope we give them the beating I feel like we should have yesterday. Anything better for Christmas than a 2nd win over Missoula?!

Hmm, the replay I saw, it looked like gillman's helmet had already come off and Eiden just swatted it out of frustration. Still a bad decision and absolutely an unsportsmanlike penalty, but not vicious or malicious... I'll pay close attention to this play when I watch the replay later this week.

Here are the facts. Lehigh is undefeated. Yes they haven’t played anyone but they have 2 wins against currently ranked opponents. Griz have one. Griz have 0 wins against playoff teams. Und shouldn’t make the field. Lehigh beat Yale by 4 scores so they have one win against playoff team. They also both played sacred heart. Lehigh won 28-10 and griz won something like 43-21 so pretty similar point differential. Lehigh was the 4th seed in the last time it was announced and griz 3rd. There is no way they can keep them at 3 with a loss and Lehigh 4th but I will not be shocked if it happens. Griz are the 3rd best team and should be the 3rd seed based on eye test but do not think that will happen. We will find out in about an hour though.

Watch the replay and such a pure athlete he rarely sees the field and list 1 yard on the play.
